Yes. It is really amazing to see the tunnels they build. Trucks driving through them. Imagine what we have now.
The tunnels have been there far longer than many realise. FAR longer. World wide.
Back when they still gave tours I went into the Detroit salt mines. Absolutely awe inspiring in its enormity and I only saw a tiny fraction. That salt bed runs from Detroit all the way up through Lake Huron, to Drummond Island off the east tip of the Upper Peninsula. Thats 257 straight line miles.
