Oh, no, I think they're terrified, but their "virtue" forces them to compromise the part of their brain that allows for critical thinking and extrapolation of data.
In other words, they've swallowed the lie "hook, line, and sinker." And, as a result, they are now forced to continue compromising themselves under some warped sense of "honor" or "duty" because most people have aversions to admitting when they're wrong, and even less people will actually admit they're wrong. It's all a weird, fascinating experience to watch.
My son had to scramble to find a test so that he would be allowed to go back to work. He was exposed so quarantined but never got sick. Home tests were sold out everywhere. He didn't want the stick into his brain so thankfully, he finally found a restocked home test and now is allowed back. He's been working double-shifts and tons of overtime for months because his company is so understaffed. And here he sat, not sick, not able to work, until he found a stupid worthless test.
I thought the queues were ridiculous until I realized that a lot of people there need the stupid thing for work.
I have the flu (I think) and I’m actually tempted to test so I can have some time off work. I’ve never tested. But man it sucks having to call out of work each day “yeah I’m still sick 🙄” At least with a Covid test I get several days off to get better no questions asked.
COVID would be over tomorrow if they started charging people for the tests.
They want to test positive, duh. They want to take a break, get some extra money and have fun!
True SIL has had it 4 or 5 times its “ ravaged her family” , deaths door stuff.
She tested positive LAST day of January hols( 3rd) so another 10 days off.
Then BIL who lives with her was clear for 9 days then tested positive so 10 days off as she returned to work.
Still managed to have their holiday breaks in the last 2 years always Covid free.
Yep. It fuels their conginitve disonance and their virtue signaling.
That Netflix ain't going to watch itself if you're at work.
If you had to pay and they were only anal tests available?
Then only rich gay guys would have covid.
Vax or test mandates...
Wouldn't you WANT to catch omicron?
Logic has no place in this charade.
