I agree with you 100%. Used WordPerfect for years as a medical transcriptionist, but ultimately we had to capitulate to Microsoft's capture of the PC market.
You know a lot of "white supremacist" or "Muslim terrorist" that look like they can afford shit like that? How many of them even have their own computers for fucks sake?
With Apple wanting to spy on your photo collection (allegedly for child porn) and Microsoft now planning to spy on your Word documents, you'd almost think Big Tech was part of the Great Reset tyranny bandwagon.

WordPerfect is still way better, imo.
Those were the days, and I specially liked that you could see all the formatting codes.
I much preferred Word Perfect to Word, also, but what I really liked and used the most was WordStar, on both CP/M and DOS.
"George R. R. Martin reported in 2014 he still used WordStar 4.0 on a DOS machine to write his novels." ~ from https://vetusware.com/download/WordStar%204.00/?id=3443
well then just let OpenOffice become the new standard
https://www.openoffice.org/download/
I use Libre Office on a Mac that runs Linux as its operating system. Fuck Apple and MS!
agree
Well sure That way when the cabal mentions children it will auto correct to pizza.
People still buying Word? Word.

Might just buy it to leave Gates a message ;)
So this is what the update I had to install yesterday was for. /s
I suggest anyone with Win 10, to download "Destroy Win 10 Spyware" and learn how to turn off all auto updates.
Get yourself a good antivirus and stay safe, and you won't have to worry about not being updated.
It's better than whatever spyware updates Windows pushes out.
Won't use it.
yeah Word Perfect for the ATARI........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. many thought it was better than Word ever was...
Word processer. No internet connection needed.

I have not used word in 20 fucking years.
