It's all about the spirit, not the letter. And WOW he has lost some serious weight! Must be doing keto OMAD
Probably taking ozempic/wegovy (same medicine different brands). The generic term for it is semaglutide. It increases the time food takes to go through stomach and digestive system leading to feeling full much longer and decreasing appetite. It is like a non surgical weight loss with the same weight loss as those with surgery get. Literally a miracle drug for those unable to lose weight who are in the “heavily overweight/obese category” which he probably was.
weight loss is a simple equation. 3,500 calories = 1lb. So, if you eat 3,500 less calories week over week you’ll consistently lose weight. Keto is a fallacy.
"Keto is a fallacy" what does that even mean?
I had been high carb/sugar addict my whole life, then I went to a carnivore keto diet one day, and holy shit did things change. I never felt stronger. The skinny fat just melted away, and my muscles strong. Calling fat adapted a "fallacy" You're wrong.
I'm saying that there is no Keto diet god. Just because Pompep lost wight doesn't mean 'he must mean be on Keto'. You said you lost weight by cutting out carbs and sugar (high amounts, your whole life). You were already eating fat and protein in your diet too (in high amounts too I'm sure). Just because you don't count calories, doesn't mean that calories don't count. By starting Keto you started eating less calories overall. You lowered your calorie intake from carb/sugar sources and maintained a good balance of fat/protein sources, which have tremendous overall health and weight loos benefits (ex: you feel stronger and less hungry throughout the day). I am glad to hear you found a weight loss method that is working for you, and I sincerely hope you continue to practice it daily for the rest of your life so you can continue to be strong and healthy.
lmao ok have fun counting calories
I do. Have fun being ignorant.
My body mass is 12.9 and I would like to know how many calories I have to eat per day. I I have lost a lot of weight specially after I got Covid in 2020. Please Can you tell me? Thank you. God bless you.
butter bacon beef and eggs, eat until comfortably stuffed, 1-2 meals a day within a 6hr window, 18hr fasting window per day. No sugar drinks either just stick w water and coffee, unsweet teas etc. try it out for a week or 2 see how u like it :D
oh and u can add some veggies and other types of meats but beef and bacon are the easiest and cost effective
That's not what Guyton and Hall Textbook of Medical Physiology has to say about things, and I trust it over your opinion.
All hail to one textbook! I'll continue using and promoting the basic fundamentals of weight loss, thank you. I understand there are different methods people use to lose weight. Like in the 90's when the 'health industry' propped up 'low fat' as king, and processed tons of new special low-fat modified food products for the masses, raked in billions of our hard-earned fiat money, and guess what, people lost weight on that too. It's not about what you eat, it's about how much you eat. Diet adherence and sustainability is driven by methodology (if you think Keto works for you, do it, if you think low-fat works for you do it, and if you think "counting calories work for you do it. However, the actual weight loss itself is due to simple energy balance (calories in vs. calories out).
It's not as simple as calories in vs. calories out.
The trick to losing weight is taking control of your insulin. Your body uses insulin to make fat, and you can't burn your fat stores while your insulin levels are elevated for that very reason. So if you're spiking your insulin constantly with 3 or more meals high in carbs, you're probably going to gain weight or have a difficult time losing it.
You're also likely to get hungrier throughout the day if you eat high carb as you can't access your fat stores and the only way to get usable energy is by ingesting some more carbs until your insulin levels drop and you're able to burn fat storage.
Two ways to take control of those spikes is intermittent fasting (OMAD is what I do) or reducing carbohydrates, mainly processed carbs.
