On any given day, hundreds of species of butterflies flit through the nonprofit sanctuary, which is part of the North American Butterfly Association. Birders from across the country visit the refuge to observe and photograph birds unique to the Rio Grande Valley, and thousands of local schoolchildren take field trips to the center each year.
So a lot of noise about phantom racisms while seeming to ignore serious liabilities and risks with crimes occurring on their property doesn't sound like a legit business. Is a border region subject to drug dealings and murderers a genuine place for 'thousands' of schoolchildren? And to first postpone and then abandon their business for what is claimed to be the proximity of a Trump rally? Because they are so full of crime at these rallies? What on earth..
You know who starts screeching when people say 'hey so we are going to police the border' ? People who dont want the border being policed.. why might that be?
Looks very similar to how the offices of dominion voting systems were abandoned overnight.. with all the staff having fled and gone into hiding..
Odd, the link works fine for me and I've never logged in or created an account - dont even think I've visited the website before until running some searches for this story. Heres an archive link, maybe it will work better.
On the trafficking thing, I agree nothing has been proven so far. With that said, the nature of the reaction of this company is highly suggestive of wrongdoing.. more than sufficient for genuine investigating to happen, as you do with any suspicious conduct. Why the panic? Those are facts.
I just knew the peacemaker show on HBO was redirecting attention from something with all its talk about the deep state and project butterfly.
The writer/producer got fired from Disney for tweeting about fucking kids and what are the coincidences that butterflies in real life have to do with trafficking children.
Its the first time heard about this butterfly sanctuary thing, I guess I missed the news cycle when it last did the rounds when they were whining about the wall and Trump. But its such a pedo signifier, as you say.
What a daft thing to draw attention to yourself if you are indeed up to these shady things. I'm glad that these people are stupid.
A lot of properties on the Texas border are owned "privately", but they're really just owned by people on the pay of the cartels. Think about it. Border patrol is constantly having to deal with the cartels trying to buy out agents. It's tens of millions of dollars. One of the easiest things to do is pay a landowner to look the other way while you build a tunnel under their property.
The National Butterfly Center was mainly built as a way to block border wall being built in that very high traffick region. That is a super hot spot for drug and human trafficking. Any attempt to build there was met with national headlines of "What about the butterflies?!"
I don't think the center itself was doing the trafficking, but its purpose was to block any wall from being built there. They could have built an orphanage there and done the same thing. "YOU'RE GOING TO MURDER TINY TIM FOR A STUPID WALL?!"
Thirteen miles is the approximate amount of levee that the Trump administration intended to convert to levee-border
wall in Hidalgo county, but which had not yet been built. Twenty miles were planned, approximately 7 miles were built,
and thirteen miles remained. It appears that companies are using the claimed need for repairs as a loophole to complete
work on President Trump’s border walls in Hidalgo county. In June work resumed at multiple locations, carried out by
the same company (SLSCO) that had been awarded border wall contracts under the Trump administration.
This work is occurring in locations where border walls have never before existed, and construction had not begun prior
to President Biden’s January executive order. Four locations have been documented so far. In the locations where new
border wall construction is occurring the levees are being carved open, concrete is being poured into freestanding molds
to create solid vertical wall panels and they are being topped with bollards.
That 13 miles of Border wall was the real reason the Butterfly Center existed. They were there to block it from happening. It got built anyway. Now there is no point for them to exist.
More than 13 miles of new border walls will cut through the Lower Rio Grande Valley National Wildlife Refuge, family farms and other private property in Hidalgo County, Texas. Before he was elected, President Biden promised there would be no additional border-wall construction under his administration.
In December the Center filed a formal notice of intent to sue the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Customs and Border Protection for failing to protect endangered ocelots during construction of border levees along the Rio Grande Valley. The notice said the Biden administration was building the levees without any environmental review or attempt to avoid harm to ocelots and other wildlife — a violation of the National Environmental Policy Act and Endangered Species Act.
That's what they're really upset about. The "conspiracy stuff" is them just trying to avoid saying why're they are really shutting down.
They've been around for years, very organized and obviously in the greenie camp. And anti-Trump. That itself does not make them traffickers, though they might be enablers. https://www.nationalbutterflycenter.org/
Their outrage is suspicious because obviously hollow. These butterflies manage to travel hundreds of miles and the cartels destroying habitat on the Mexico side are probably a bigger problem for the Monarch butterflies, their destination for breeding is there. If someone seriously thinks this is a sinister organization, they should look into the parent group. https://www.naba.org/
You would think the threat of narco terrorists, drug cartels and people traffickers would be of more concern to this group.. who has said this about their activities as per story at https://www.houstonchronicle.com/news/legislature/article/National-Butterfly-Center-closes-for-weekend-16814973.php

every damn time.

just like the red shoes, I think they believe they must announce themselves.
They believe by announcing who they are and what they do, and because we don't stop them, they have our consent.
YEAHHHHHH!!!! WOOHOO! Dark to light, baby! Dark to light!!!
Anyone got any sauces?

If anyone is on the border in many spots, they probably get a lot of offers they can't refuse.
Thanks for that high effort post. It explains a lot.

North American ButterfLy Association NAMBA OR NAMBLA?
This. I believe Monarchs can fly over a border wall if they need to. Not going to destroy anything for them.
