But he cares about the military because he was injured by a military radiation test in the early 60s, so he's sensitive to that. And it worked. He listened without denying or defending.
I've been trying to get through to him for two years about COVID, the jab, the media, the left....and he just didn't want to hear it. Today I struck a nerve.
Every person needs to find a red pill that they resonate to personally. Hopefully knowing what they are doing to the military will be that red pill for many veterans.
How about how they turned down military personnel's religious requests against the jab? I believe there were some Navy Seals that won in court not long ago.

To be honest, we had a conversation in the early 1990s when Clinton was president and I was serving. I was pissed about something and I started telling him about it over the phone. And I said something like, "And what's worse is I don't even agree with (whatever it was) because we're Republicans, right?" And he responded, "Uh, hell no I'm not a damn Republican."
It went downhill from there. I could not believe the rest of the "Democrats are for the working man and all Republicans do is cost me money." He had a whole diatribe about being Democrat and I left the conversation in complete dismay. My entire family excluding me is Democrat. I'm through and through conservative, so I felt like I learned I was adopted as an adult.
My dad and Grama were Democrats and thought that same way, that the Democrats were for the people and Republicans were for big businesses and that’s all I (learned about government as a kid). I now think totally different. Democrats stand for everything immoral and evil and Republicans (actually ones that aren’t Rino’s) are for godly morals and smaller government that isn’t controlling people but rather by the people .
I don't think die-hard Democrats are fools: they just can't comprehend how pervasive and Satanic the New World Order are, that they've infiltrated our government and all of our critical institutions are are using their control over our mainstream media, social media, academia and internet to poison our minds.
I remember what if felt like to have no understanding of the world either.
100% agree. It's the most reckless thing anyone could do to their nation. Destroying the very force in place to protect it at any cost....absolutely disgraceful. The enemy within.

Wake people from their slumber and cause them to RISE UP and STAND AGAINST tyranny and shake off oppression and give courage where there is lack of.

He is from a different era. It is hard for him to grasp what has become. I love the Marines, but damn. They can be dogmatic in the worst way, but I would love for there to be 1 of them in the foxhole.
Oddly, he's a patriotic person too, so it's a tough dichotomy when I wrestle with the smallest of topics and he defends the CNN perspective. And he and others I know who love their TV news will swear they're the ones awake to truth because they're so well informed by watching news more often than others.
