Everything had to be "By the book". That leads me to believe like in Devolution, the Insurrection Act is in effect and the military is running the show.
I would love devolution to be true. It'd be faster than fighting a crooked election or trying to expunge crooked politicians from office. However, I agree. The military isn't necessarily a bastion of maverick thought. There has been a steady, constant push all the way back to when Clinton was in office to purge any officers who put doing the right thing ahead of shutting up and following orders. Careerism has taken over many military organizations and you will not see profiles in courage when you threaten some Lt Col with 18 years in who is willing to do whatever anyone says to make it to his 20 years. The retirement package is a blessing and a curse. It's created a monster where people see wrong things and they let it slide because they don't want to lose their ride. Add on to that 30 years of shuffling officers from base to base where no one has loyalty to any particular group / team...everyone feels like a free agent that gets traded every 1.5 to 4 years...eventually people lose that espirit de corps and start acting like individuals afraid that other individuals will screw them over. I know that's why I left when my commitment was done. Gobs and gobs of physical courage, scarce amounts of moral courage. Don't get me wrong - there are still good people in the military but the whole system is rigged to throw those good people away the moment they step out of line.
You're getting downvoted, but that is what says throughout the interview. Over and Over
These are all quotes
We had everything so good.....But this is the saddest time for our country, and I think the most embarrassing time for our country.
the worst, I think, was that whole the way they withdrew from Afghanistan......he way they withdrew from Afghanistan
they are renegotiating from weakness.
We would have had a deal with Iran in one week, after the election, ..... Instead, this deal they’re talking about now is a disaster for our country.....I could say, “Do this, do that.” They’re not going to do it.
So, it’s easy for me to say you have to get strong with China, ........ But they’re not going to be doing it.
they’re going to get three more years.
what they’re doing to our country,
I could give you a list of things......but they’re not going to do them.
There's an interesting bit about the 2020 election
But they were never given a mandate in this election. Because even if you looked at it where they won, they didn’t, they lost by a lot. But if you look at the number, it was so close.........
....If somebody won an election by 40 points, maybe could do whatever you want. But this was a thing that they just snuck over the line.
and then he seems to correct himself. This is wierd
Look, they lost the election.
He then lists a bunch current news and asks why would they want this. He says they about 8x. At no point does he say is in charge in any way.
He mentions our military is weaker
Right now, Putin no longer respects our country. That’s why they’re doing what they’re doing.
Mr. Patel: He’s doing the same in Ukraine, over in Russia.
President Trump: These things would never have happened had I been President…
Mr. Patel: Would you call Putin today and say, “This just can’t happen.”
President Trump: If I were president, I’d call him. I wouldn’t call him if I’m not President, because it wouldn’t be appropriate.
That seems pretty definitive there. He also said Afghanistan would have gone differently.
More quotes
President Trump: You can’t let it happen, and I think Biden is letting it happen.
And I’ve said a lot during this interview, I can say what to do, but they’re not going to do it.
Yea, because if Trump was running a shadow presidency in the background with patriots in the military the first thing he'd do is go on some interview and tell everyone. Makes a lot of sense.
So, you are telling me that IF he WAS running a shadow presidency you would be fine with him sitting by and allowing our nation to become what it has been?
He can't do TMTG while president. It appears that his role in that is more critical at this juncture.
Excellent point.
Taking over the media narrative is right up there with ending the Fed. Nothing can change with the information stranglehold.
That is troubling to hear, but it's most likely just optics.

He also didn't correct anything.

All these quotes that you included here are exactly what tore my guts out watching this interview. It threw me into despair tonight bigly.
"Diaper" Donald, huh?
You guys upset that Biden keeps shitting his pants?
We know you like to project :3
