Yeah, cause a re-enrty burn is required to re-enter the atmosphere.
Did the solar flare plot a course correction?
Edit:- I should have read an article about it before posting. It's a "green" low orbit that ensures failed satellites will encounter drag and quickly de-orbit, with additional boosting for the successful satellites. Extra drag was encountered.
Hmm, so the solar flare caused the satellite to turn retrograde and commence a re-entry burn to re-enter the atmosphere.
That's a neat trick.

So I don't understand HOW a solar storm could cause a satellite to plunge to Earth. A solar flare has EMP properties, I know, but does it also have PHYSICAL properties? Energy is in one form, matter is another form.... so how does an energy wave have any effect on a physical object?
EDIT: OK, just re-read the article and see how the storm increased the heat of the atmosphere, which in turn caused more drag for Musk's low-orbit satellites. Hmmmm, OK, plausible I guess.
They will downvote you like nuts here for something like this. We know satellites are bullshit but now any neg comments against you are glowies, newbies and/or those who are not there yet.
This has disinformation written all over it.

The takeaway:- Even green orbits suck.

So this Solar storm just knocked out only Elon Musk satellites and nothing else? If that's true seems odd.

el0n and his cabal playmates having fun.
Seems like comms to me
4+0+4+9=17... co-winky-dink for sure...
Pure ganda. The only "satellites" that exist are connected to high altitude helium baloons...
I am not sure baloons would float doc.
I got a litigious polyp on my ass you can take a look at though.
I hope you are better at lawdoc-ing than orbital mechanics.
Baloons dont float.the strings hold em up
