Canned food is the best stock pile you can have. They're cheap and you can buy a lot . Also SPAM, canned corn beef, are a good protein source and also cheap. Stock up!
Canned chicken and tuna too. And nuts, lots of nuts. Peanut butter and crackers. Cheap and last forever. Can feed yourself for months for a couple dollars. Ramen. Though its not good for you, really, when push comes to shove, its better than the alternative. Noodles, beans, rice. For fresh veges Rutabega lasts up to 5 years and my family loves it. Tastes a bit like cabbage but can be served like mashed potatoes. Butter. I have 100 lbs of this essential animal fat. Squash lasts up to 2 years.
For satisfying a sweet tooth I have the oats and honey granola both in bars and as crumble. Oatmeal both prepared and uncooked. Good source of energy. Bisquick. You can live on Bisquick indefinitely and its cheap and stores easily. I have 30 pounds of honey, raw and unfiltered. Raisins. Flour, sugar, yeast.
Get a dutch oven and a rack so you can bake on the fire. I have tons of the jiffy cornbread muffin mix. Pennys.
Water and a way to purify it. I dont own one of those water dispensers but Ive bought 30 of the big water jugs that go on them along with 5 and 1 gallon containers of water and cases and cases of bottled. Lifestraws and purification tabs. Coffee filters to filter lake and/or river water. (running water is best) Containers. Buckets to collect rain water.
Propane tanks for the grill. I have 5 150 lb tanks and a dozen or so 30 lb tanks.
I also have about 3 grand worth of MREs from mypatriotstore though I realize not everyone can afford this. Ive been buying for 4 years now.
Im ready for a siege. Ive got enough resources to keep the 5 in my household alive for a couple years with enough to spare for friends, family and neighbors lacking my foresight. I do have an advantage in my prep, I have a large house, three car garage and a polebarn for storage.
I have it all catalogued and dated for easy reference and rotating. All of it are things my family uses anyway.
It took awhile but this trucker convoy in Canada has helped me convince my extended family to stock up.
Don’t stockpile and let dates go by on canned fruits, I’ve had mandarins oranges and peaches both eat through the cans and make a mess on my storage area floors. Perhaps fruits long term are best dehydrated or something else.
Been fully stocked deep for the last 7 mos and rotating stock since. We good to go. Let’s, NOT, role truckers!
I am eating green beans & corn dated 2012. Still taste great !
Just remember it is not an expiration date, it is a best if used by date.
"Keystone" sounds masonic but tasty lol
Q spoke about the Keystone…
I have 2 cases of Yoda canned bacon. I am impressed with the flavor.
Store bought canned goods ?

I bought cases and cases of beef stew. I was thinking it can be added to many other things for survival.
Rice is super-cheap, keeps for a long time if stored properly, can be cooked fast on a very low gas flame and added to almost anything.

I love spam but holy shit is it salty, looks like I need to take a trip to Aldi, already got a ton of canned goods but why not buy more?
Oh, and rice.
Yah! Not all of us own a pressure cooker. Something wrong with store bought canned goods? Besides the usual BS
Nope, just buy what you like.
Well, canned spinach and collards I don't "like" at all but they can be added to strews & stuff in a pinch for when veggies are not available
Yep. Taste brand new !
Thank you. I was wondering if they will last longer than the date.
i have to consume a case of expired mini V8's down the hatch
Anyone else like SPAM? My wife thinks I'm crazy. Fried SPAM sandwich or with eggs for breakfast...love it.
I absolutely love spam. Haven’t had any in years but it rates right up there with bologna. ❤️👍
Give it to your local convoy & go get more
