My first two thoughts were, "Wow, awesome!" and "Damn, watch out."
Exciting because,
Not good because,
I'm going to go with good, for now. Mainly, because I assume James is aware of the not good reasons and he will compartmentalize as needed to protect PV. If this guy can do the things that are exciting, we could see a whole lot of great undercover news in the near future.
I think he already approached O'Keefe, probably at least a year ago, and was the one providing PV with the CNN "whistleblower" footage. And I doubt this guy is the only former MSM employee on O'Keefe's payroll.
Reason being is, whoever the CNN pukes were talking to, they ALL were comfortable enough with that person to open up. These types of conversations usually only happen with co-workers. Specifically, in an Intel gathering op, spooks will often get "mainlined" into a position, make friends with their "new coworkers", which gets them comfortable, and soon enough (usually between 1-3 mths), those coworkers start to divulge info they normally wouldn't mention to "non-coporate" friends.
Which has me wondering if O'Keefe has any formal or informal spook training.
I think you're right u/SuckaFree 👈🏻
It would be interesting to know what training James has had. Could be formal. Could be just grinding and grinding. So many heroes in our movie.
Lots of due diligence and "Trust but Verify" with this guy for sure.
Viper to your bosom, potentially.
You don't think O'Keefe has gone over the potential negatives already? As if he isn't always looking over his shoulder?
Lol. I think you owe O'Keefe a bit more credit.
I agree, is there anything in O'keefe's history, recent or otherwise, that suggest he'd be kinda dumb about this? not from what I can see.
James, I guess he'll watch this guy carefully the first few years, someone will be spying on him 24 hours a day.
My guess is PV has all this covered. This is not a typical hire, this is like getting Wernher von Braun. I'm sure he's been heavily vetted before letting him in on any PV secrets.
That's a really good analogy. Thank you.
