This makes me sad. I think this post just said it’s a troll. I’m sad.

But that was a different phase of the info campaign. Things are a little different now, wouldn't you say? I understand needing verification but if that account starts posting info that checks out the same way original Q posts did then isn't that enough? How did we verify Q the first time?
Lots of it had to do with timestamps related to then President Donald Trump's posts.
Trip Codes.
Basically, because the chans are anonymous, there still needs to be a way to determine if two messages have come from the same person.
Trip Codes offer a lock-key cipher system that allows the poster to be able to claim any post as theirs.
It would take longer than a human life-span to crack the cipher system and "guess" what trip code the author has chosen.
Q's last trip code is still active, which means he can come and post again and everyone will know only THE Q has posted. Mod errors have occurred in the past, but the trip is still active aside from changes with the message board.
Why do anons think it's no longer a good trip code, like it got stale or something?
Is trip codes tied to the hardware?
I don't see why it needs to be.
It's just a calculation being run.
Basically, it works like this:
My Key (which I keep secret): iar1!ic
The Site's Encryption Algorithm (which I choose on the site): x = char+1
My Trip Code (That everyone can see): jbs2@jd
The only way someone can write a message with my exact trip code is if they have either the Key or the Algorithm I chose.
So long as both are secret, I can post and produce the trip code every time.
I'm simplifying it, but that's the idea.
Thanks for the info. Was helpful. 🙂
This. This Q is just as inside as any of the others. And in far more easily demonstrable ways. I'm ok with that.
If "fake"Q posts up some rabbit hole, I'll dig. Will you?
Will you share what you find?
What's the difference?
