I did catch Dave's theory that Trump speaks multiple languages.
It would not surprise me. It would be very advantageous to any world leader to possess that ability. I remember early on the cabal demanding to interview an interpreter or something to that end.
Lol yeah I hear they're fantastic. I just can't watch them since I know my brown people make some top tier novellas with the added bonus of insanely over the top female eye candy. So if anything I'd watch those. I watch a lot of anime so it was funny to see someone pick up a bit of another language in a similar way.
I've heard Arcane was good for general audiences. It's based on a video game's lore, but as a company they are known for their ability to create content outside of the game for their characters that is top notch. Comic books and CGI shorts etc. Since I'm hooked on the game it's from I just never choose watching that over playing it so I haven't seen beyond the first episode.
Archer is a funny ass cartoon from FX that parodies 007. There's a few seasons towards the end that flop but the first couple are insanely good. The latest or one two were actually good again, but most original fans dumped them after a while because it changed a bit too much.
Atlanta is something I enjoyed a lot. It might not appeal to as many people on here because of it's pov being a young broke black dude in the hood. It doesn't preach about politics, but is more of a glimpse into that life through the eyes of somebody that is more hood adjacent. Starring Donald Glover/Childish Gambino. That show will surprise you if you give it a shot. Can be both funny and serious.
If you've never seen Batman Beyond you should. Here's a video essay about their best episode. Same goes for Batman The Animated Series. Same channel did one for this show too.
Frasier is what I tend to put on when I'm going to bed. That shit is still funny to me now and with age I've started to get even more of the jokes lol.
Futurama is solid. Only reason I don't watch it anymore is because they wore that sucker out every time it got cancelled and brought back with excessive reruns on TV. It's a lot like American Dad in some ways. Better than the show the creators are more known for because it didn't lose it's edge with mainstream success.
Halt and Catch Fire is great if you're looking for a show based on tech in the 80's with good actors.
First couple seasons of Heroes were good but since it doesn't get a good ending might not be worth the time. A lot like what people say about Lost, but this was due to the writer's strike and not incompetent writers.
I've been rewatching Just Shoot Me lately. I forgot how funny David Spade was in that.
King of the Hill should be mandatory viewing for all people. As a Texan I can confirm all the things in every episode. I even know some folks that are from the small town Mike based the show on and they say it's even more authentic than I had already believed.
Malcolm In The Middle is pretty much the only accurate sit com in existence about lower middle class America. If it's not too real for you to enjoy it's a good watch since you say you have kids lol.
Metalocalypse is great. Got introduced to it from my metal head friend who can pick up on all of the easter eggs while I just laugh at the surface level humor and jam out to the incredible music. If you enjoy metal even a little bit it's worth a watch.
Modern Family is one of those shows I can put on any episode and bust a gut laughing. Their writing and direction is on par with stuff like 30 Rock without the politics and deep state easter eggs I now pick up on :/
Mr. Robot is one I know you'll like. Any anon in current year should give it a watch. A lot of computer savvy people praise their realistic hacking techniques. The story is very interesting. It's the last show I watched week to week and enjoyed all of the theorizing that went down on their subreddit between episodes.
MXC is a silly ass japanese game show americans dubbed over with funny ass jokes. I throw it on when I have company because you can talk over it and nobody will care and if there's a lull in conversation you can always laugh at the little asian person putting themselves through hell for our entertainment.
Scrubs is fantastic. It's popular enough you've probably seen it and have an opinion on it already. Just don't watch the Med School season unless you're truly hungry for more.
Silicon Valley is funny since it's a Mike Judge big budget tv show. It's not exactly promoting woke stuff but that's where I got the Blood Boy clip from so it's got some not so pleasant elements for the awakened.
The Boys is a fucked up realistic version of what a world with super heroes would actually look like. Has some gorey scenes since it's an amazon show, but that's not the main focus. What's crazy is the comic book is like....1000x worse than what you see on the show lol.
The I.T. Crowd is a british comedy about an IT department in the UK. One of my favorites to watch because the laughs per minute can be pretty high and they know how to properly ramp up a joke. I heard they tried to make an american version with Joel McHale and while I love him in Community that is like...the worst casting decision ever lol.
The League is a pretty crude comedy show about a fantasy football league. The way they shit on each other without holding back is something you don't see much on mainstream content.
Ugly Americans was a great cartoon. Social worker that lives with a zombie in NYC. Their world is all sorts of weird and crazy while the mc is the normal one that sticks out.
What We Do In The Shadows was an FX show that came out of nowhere. I never saw the movie that spawned this, but I really enjoyed that show. Vampires are kicked out of europe and come to America. Has one of the actors from The I.T. Crowd so I gave it a shot and did not regret it.
ANIME
Akira is the anime every anime watcher says to try but forgets the movie is pretty incoherent because they squished 6 volumes of manga into the most gorgeous hand drawn anime to grace our eyes in the VHS era.
Assassination Classroom was entertaining but I never finished it since the service I used lost the license while I was mid season. I get shit from anime nerds I know for not finishing it so apparently it doesn't shit the bed in that regard.
Almost all of the DC animated universe movies are top notch. Their live action stuff may have been cucked by the MCU but their cartoon movies are arguably better than the MCU.
Any Hayao Miyazaki films are worth your time. I never watched the WWII one because I don't seek out depression like the reddit dweebs with their DAE sad??? shit.
Cowboy Bebop is probably on your radar. One of the most popular voice actors in their most popular role. Literally one of the few animes nerds dont start flame wars about dub vs. sub.
Ghost In The Shell all movies and the Stand Alone Complex tv series are fantastic. A friend used to give me shit for watching it all the time at his place when it was showing on Adult Swim. Yeeeeears later he randomly texts me "Bro that shit is like Law & Order in the future" Don't waste your time with Arise and if that's the only thing you've seen from them give the older movies then that SAC tv series a shot.
Jujutsu Kaisen is a more recent anime that is super well reviewed. Only watched episode 1 and could see why it got people hooked so easily. I'm told it only gets better but I haven't given it the time myself. Lots of action there tho.
Kill La Kill is the most over the top anime I have ever seen. Lots of action, but also a lot of silly stuff.
Megalobox is about boxing in the future. They use body modifications to augment themselves. The mc is special for being 'gearless'.
Neon Genesis Evangelion is an old favorite of mine. I do not suggest watching the Netflix dub. The old english dub is better or the japanese language is best.
Redline is about racing. One of the beautiful animes I've seen in terms of color. This is just from one race and doesn't spoil anything.
These should all be findable on the open seas. I never gave Jojo's a shot after seeing how many episodes I'd have to sit through lol. I'll just miss out on all of the "omg that's from jojo's" moments I see in every other youtube comment thread. I don't actually watch Mexican soap operas, they're just the ones I would watch if I were to venture into foreign live action stuff. From speaking to the women in my family they are superior to their American counter-part because they actually end at some point unlike here where a woman can start off as a 10 year old actress and stay in front of the camera for 50 years playing the same character. I just don't consume content like I used to. I'm either digging or gaming or out lol.
If I were married to someone that could speak multiple languages, I could only see that as an advantage in negotiation, be it business or political, and would want to learn.
Smarter everyday on YouTube had a good video displaying the difference in brain elasticity between adults and children. It took him months to retrain his brain to ride an inverted bicycle while his son took a fraction of the time.
I did catch Dave's theory that Trump speaks multiple languages.
It would not surprise me. It would be very advantageous to any world leader to possess that ability. I remember early on the cabal demanding to interview an interpreter or something to that end.
Thought it was an interesting dig. Also, if you don’t think Putin understands English…well
agreed
I think it's a stretch. KJU was educated in Switzerland and speaks English.
fuckin spellcheck
Fuckin chuck Norris
i am not surprised ... so does melania like she speaks 7 languages...
they might have one for everyday of the week
When I saw that video I was amazed that he didn’t have the headset on. Looks like he understands Chinese to me.
Found the guy who watches Korean dramas.
Lol yeah I hear they're fantastic. I just can't watch them since I know my brown people make some top tier novellas with the added bonus of insanely over the top female eye candy. Sigh. And now we're stuck with that stumble bum.
Yeah, I caught that, just finished watching a few minutes ago.
First I've heard this but not surprising in the least. Definitely a plus going in for talks/negotiations on such sensitive topics as swamp draining.
Another good point Dave raised too was no translators needed, so private conversations were actually pretty private.
And Trump is a builder. He most likely knows Spanish as he's hired workforce staff personnel for his hotels, etc. Not stereotyping, just basic facts.
I was more in tune with his description of the Kenyan's mischief in Ukraine during his term.
If I were married to someone that could speak multiple languages, I could only see that as an advantage in negotiation, be it business or political, and would want to learn.

Oh come on.... His commercials are seconds long. Really? You're THAT sensitive? Do you do something to make a living?
let's talk about your health.....
