Please, no hate. Of course I want to support the efforts of JW as they are doing great work in bringing to light the fraud in my state of Georgia. Are they asking for money? Yes! A tax deductible donation, no less. I haven't donated money to any political group since the steal. And being awake has made me a skeptic of almost everything...
Here are my conflicts:
Should I contribute to a cause of election integrity that the government should already be funding and supporting?
Do I put my name on a list that makes a target for retribution by virtue of my contribution?
All discussion points are welcome and appreciated.
JW uses their money donations to pay for FOIA documents, and lawyers to fight the swamp. I can think of no better use for any money I would donate.
They have come out with some big discoveries also. They are the FOIA version of Project Veritas.
Appreciate the input. This validates exactly what I was thinking.
Yeah, Tom and the crew at JW are legit, if you only make one donation that is a good one. He/they are doing the job a Free Press was put in the Constitution to do; act as Watchdog. We no longer have a Free Press, thank God we have JW.
If you worry about being identified just send a money order or cashier's check...
I have been donating to Judicial Watch for decades and always felt that it was well spent.
Your name is already on the list.
This doesn’t deserve a downvote. Sadly, You’re probably right.
I wouldn’t necessarily refer to JW as a political organization…they simply fight for the truth by exposing information.
I wrestled with the retribution list when I supported the truckers and ultimately decided that if my government is going to destroy me for simply donating to a protest, we’ll all have bigger problems coming anyway…at least we are not shooting each other in the streets yet.
Agree. I don’t view them as a political organization. More so along the lines of a watchdog. I know they do good work. And I think your outlook on retribution makes a lot of sense. Thank you.
No problem, happy to share my thoughts. Incidentally I have also donated to JW on a couple occasions.
Just don't give them your true email address (you should have a fake one just for spam) and DO NOT give them your real phone number or you will NEVER hear the end of it. Believe me, I know! I'm seriously thinking of changes my phone number. I probably average 7 text messages per day. And please don't tell me how to get rid of them because it verges on the impossible. But donate yes, especially JW but just be smart about it.
Judicial Watch is a great organization doing good work (as others here have pointed out).
Yes, you're already "on the list" -- the Deep State knows you're not their friend.
I get snail-mail from JD constantly and when you donate to ANY large organization, you can expect your generous nature to be broadcast to hundreds of other groups and your name to be added to their "might donate to us if we pester him/her often enough" list.
Other than that, the main consideration I have is what is your budget? Elon Musk can afford to give meaningful amounts of cash to any number of groups, but most of us here cannot. Judicial Watch (and Project Veritas, among others) have large bank accounts already. They are worthy groups but your $50 or whatever won't make a bit of difference to them (of course, thousands of small gifts add up). Are there local or other small causes, groups, or individuals who you could make a meaningful difference for with the money you can afford to give?
It gets down to personal preference, but that's a factor I'm more aware of as time goes on.
I donate to JW every six months or so. Good cause that does good work.
Being on this website, you probably are already on somebody's list. No fear. JW is doing the work our Gov't WONT do. So a very good investment in our future.
