If people in some states can ignore federal drug regulations, others can ignore federal oil regulations. The precedent was set. Let's move power back to the states!

Finally!!! Every oil producing state needs to follow asap. There's nothing they can do and they know it. Fuck the feds. They can ignore the constitution and laws we can ignore them.
So if red states start making thier own oil. Red states better keep thier own oil. Maybe we can make the blue vote gas tax a reality. Maybe some reparation for us anons when this is all said and done.

It's going to take the removal of federal funds from the unconstitutional programs such as education, law enforcement, etc. to really move forward. Federal government has put states in a bad position by over taxing then spending on these programs, leaving the states too little a tax slice of the pie.
You're right. States essentially sold out control by getting in bed with the fed.
But we both know that politicians at the local level are just a prone to corruption as at fed level, they maybe are just more easily held accountable at local level, that is if voters are paying attention.

The brilliant thing about 50 autonomous states is that you have 50 "test labs" when it comes to attacking any problem. Some experiments will fail, but a few will rise to the top. Those that rise to the top can then be utilized by all, thus strengthening the entirety of the US.
The Federal Government should assume a minimal role, only being used in areas where there is a conflict between two or more states or in world issues that affect all states.
