Here are the steps.

  1. Go to the Twitter post you want to use.
  2. Look for the username. (In the example above, it was "aguirremauri."
  3. Go to nitter.net and enter the username in the search box and click search.
  4. This will bring up a clone of that user's twitter profile.
  5. Look for the post you want to reference and click on it.
  6. This will create the exact web page URL for the post.
  7. Select the entire nitter URL for the post and click copy.
  8. Paste the URL where you want to as I did above.
