If he hit the prop, there's no way he leapt, unless he leapt from midship. Hitting the prop would be more "stepping off" the stern, whether by nudge or his own volution, who's to say...
Plus, if the boat was moving, even harder to "leap" into the prop. I don't think I've ever heard of someone jumping into the prop, have heard people swimming around the boat or picking up skiers getting whacked by props though.
Boats can stop PDQ, I have no idea the official procedure if any, but I'd imagine stopping the boat would be good as soon as someone is overboard unexpectedly with disengaging the prop/s, especially if someone jumps in.
He jumped off the back of a moving boat. He must have jumped straight down and if he were in a competition, he'd have been in a boat a lot. His fiance couldn't swim?
If the boat was moving at any speed at all, it would be hard to hit the prop, as the boat is moving away. If the boat wasn't moving, then the propeller wasn't either.
If somehow, miraculously, he was able to jump directly into the propeller at high speed, it would be the equivalent of staring down into a giant blender and deciding to jump into the blades.
No way in hell. If this dude died from the prop, he was run over on purpose and this was no "accident."
So the captain "accidently" stumbles and pushes the fiance into the ocean, and then "accidently" drives over the guy?
Even if the first thing happened, the first thing you do is put the engine in neutral or turn off if someone is near the prop.
I am not buying this story at all.
Fake their death imo..
How often is someone killed by their own boat's propeller? Sum Ting Wong.

Can't believe it got past the sensors.
Proof that news anchors just read the script and don't think for themselves.
I frequently see folks posting articles from DailyMail here...they all make me scratch my head. The articles range from, "Huh?" to totally improbable.

This. I thought COMMS immediately after reading this article yesterday. Way too suspect.
Ya...60 foot yacht...6 miles off the coast...on Saturday (6th day of the week). Sounds the same to me
Remember when Ray Dalioโs son also died in an accident? A car crash. Dalio runs billion dollar fund Bridgewater.
Yeah, mighty suspicious!
