Legit. But like a lot of legit things, easily and frequently misrepresented. There's a good biography of him called "There Is a River." He started an organization called the Association for Research and Enlightenment, or A.R.E. They are still active, and send out monthly newsletters. Visited by an angel early, read the bible cover-to-cover once for every year of his life, and taught Sunday school most of his life as well.
Castor oil is an amazing anti-bacterial serum. I found out about it when I had a recurring cyst that I couldn't get to chill out. Made a little gauze pack with some castor oil to place on it, and one hour later it was drawing out the bad stuff and getting the swelling to go down. Kept the gauze fresh and the castor oil killed that cyst within 24 hours. I've kept a bottle of castor oil handy ever since.
My aunt, who lived for years in Norfolk, VA, was "new age" before people even called it that. She's long gone from this Earth, but she would perioducally visit the Edgar Cayce Institute in Virginia Beach, VA, for readings and guidance in her life. She never met Cayce himself, I think he had passed on by then, but the Institute did offer her medical and life advice, and I think they may have also had a few resident psychics there. Anyway, she always swore by them, that their insights, predictions, and advice was always useful and accurate as it pertained to her.
Edgar Cayce himself had little control of what came through to him in his dream state, and after a few bad experiences and feeling horrible after a few readings, he discovered that people were using his gift for very selfish and stock market profiteering reasons, so he had to cut them off. He only wanted to help people with real needs, not greedy people who would take advantage of others.
He did basically what you said, the rules I remember were grain or citrus for breakfast but not both, greens/salad for lunch, and whatever for dinner except no beef and no pork. Red meat bad, fish good.
Lol I learned how to make fried stuff w my covid time and I had to stop.
I just wanted to let you know I’m enjoying the book Edgar Cayce by Kirkpatrick. I’m more than 1/4 of the way through. Wow amazing the mind and body connection.
I don't have a site I can point you to (maybe someone else does). I would try searching his name in the search engine of your choice and see what comes up.

Indeed. Thanks for the share!
Thanks for sharing.
The Sleeping Prophet, been intrigued by him for at least a decade
Pretty good, I'd like the author to expand with today's events.
My dad cured his asthma with the Edgar Casey diet, whenever he followed the specific diet he didn't have to take his meds.
