My gut feel is that the Foo Fighters have long been part of the bad guy team. Thought came to me last year when I was thinking about UFOs and thought of then and the lyrics in Learn To Fly where it seems to be alluding to Satan for salvation (I could be wrong in interpretation).
Mostly agreed, but I don't really listen to anything after "And Justice For All..." They lost their edge after that and their based messaging took a backseat and they got commercial.
I feel ya, I was a huge Pearl Jam fan from 93 until right around 2005. You can imagine my growing disappointment and eventual disgust. All of my memorabilia has since been sold off. Can't even listen to it any longer.

I picked up the first Foo Fighters album before anyone even knew about it. I bought everything Dave put out, everything : Probot as well.
There is Nothing Left to Lose is one of my top 5 favourite albums.
Then.... I saw they played Joe's inauguration. Tossed everything, haven't even HEARD a Foo Fighter song since that day.
I've had this feeling for so many bands 😞

Meta not bad but nowhere near Zeppelin, GNR or AC/DC.
All of which I've repented of.

More like Hurl Jam
Alice in Chains was the best Seattle band anyways.
Deadass, I just got done listening to Jar of Flies when I opened this comment. You aren't wrong.
That had to hurt.
