Thanks Yeah I was simply pointing out the content of some of the music. Not the character of the band members. “War Pigs” lyrics could have been written tomorrow.
Seems to me it’s just plausible deniability while penetrating the public psyche w satanic messaging.
Call it a “scare” while covering up what ACTUALLY goes on.
I mean heck, look at FF final album 10 and the movie Studio 666. A movie all about the devil influencing music and the music industry. But heck, Foo Fighters are just a righteous progressive rock band who promote good things like public health and vaccination and trans rights!
I dont disagree with what you are saying, but your original comment was in response to u/BoatingAccident saying:
They weren't devil worshipping.
Did Ozzy promote the liberal agenda as a solo artist? Sure. I don't think anyone will disagree.
But leave the whole "bit the head off a dead bat" and "Black Sabbath anti-Christian" talking points back in the 80s.
Point out the real shit, like the "No Rest for the Wicked" album cover, or the nod from George W Bush.

Not that up to date but thanks!

Anything that reeks of corporate rock is trash imo.
Satan has a new face, and it's all through righteousness and rainbows now.
Just like the soldier in the Denver airport with the rainbow killing the dove on the mural.
