Maybe, but most likely not. SeALs don't usually train other military forces. That's the job and purview of the Ranger Battalions. That's how DOD set up those battalions during and after WWII, and is an agreement with the NATO countries.
I'm wondering, if he says he's killed ~ 100 Russians in Ukraine, how does he know they were combatant forces? If he was pointed toward and ordered to shoot Russians by Ukrainian Nazis, there's simply no way [they] didn't dupe his dumb ass into killing innocents. So basically, he's guilty, knows he's quilty and is just trying to cover his ass for when the tribunals start. Because he knows he'll hang. "Just following orders" isn't a valid defense against war crimes. If it was, most of the German Nazis would've survived.
They use armbands as identifiers on the battlefield. If you're sniping, you have plenty of time to look at your target before pulling the trigger. And the Russians are traveling in vehicles marked with Z's. They're easy to spot. 100 is a big number and maybe there's some bragging/exaggerating going on there, but the sniping has been well documented.
As far as the civilian killing, Ukraine's whole strategy is asymmetric warfare. They're running the Hamas playbook. Lots of false flags. Combatants in civilian clothes. Use of civilian structures for military function, etc. There have been a ton of reports of Ukrainians running into their own dead and hastily changing their uniforms to look like Russians, painting Z's on the vehicles and claiming them as "kills," etc.
It's very clear they're getting a LOT of help. It's a full-on proxy war between NATO and Russia right now. We'll see a bit of a lull with spring. The rains make everything muddy and difficult to maneuver heavy vehicles. Then things will accelerate again in the summer. MIC's got a fully erect boner for this to be the next never ending war.

I was actually being incredulous of his story by referencing the navy seals copypasta. But I agree with everything you said.

Proxy wars need to be made an international war crime with anyone who signs off on any part of it held responsible.
Proxy war bullshit needs to stop.
And the media and other figureheads calling for more violence need to be dealt with somehow.
