Its funny I was discussing the propaganda in this war with my based 76 yo Dad. He told me something I never knew that my grandfather had told him. My grandfather was a decorated paratrooper in WW2. My Dad told me he remembers my grandfather being pissed at how bad our governments wartime propaganda was back then. In WW2. Over 75 fucking years ago. This government has been rotten forever. We are all seeing it on a daily basis now in all aspects of our lives. Kinda like a Great Awakening.
Plus, back then there was no such thing as independent, self-funded citizen investigative journalists running around to screw up the story - or for that matter, armies of normies with cell phones.
Sorry I don't remember any of the identifying details - but I do remember reading a quote from some big shot back in the early 1900's saying he controlled everything that was printed.
Wartime is a funny thing. If newspapers reported the truth it might hurt the chances of winning the war, so propaganda is accepted and expected. But now that we are in forever wars, it does not bode well for freedom of the press.
Hell for that matter, just forevernews was a demon baby we should have never let grow. Once news became a 24/7 thing... they had to have something to report on 24/7. Nothing to say? Just make some shit up.
"My God, you've actually seen people looting, raping and eating each other?!” “No, no we haven't actually seen it, Tom. We're just reporting it.” - South Park
This started after WW1. The returning troops could see that all of the worlds press lied their teeth out about this conflict, this is where the phrase "don't belive everything the newspapers tell you" originated.

There's a reason Orwell was dead within a year after publishing 1984.
You mean this WORLD...
Yeah, this world is pretty rotten. Destroyed by a globalist cabal
