Darwin did not came out of nowhere ..... The idea of natural selection has been out for quite a while.
Actually, it can be traced to a Persian scientist around the 11th century who was amazed at the way divergence in species occur. Of course, given his background, he was incapable of producing the answer Darwin came up with. yet, he was very very close ....
Darwin, in his time, was not the only one fascinated by this topic. He just happen to be the one producing this theory the first after having had extensive correspondence with other natural scientist .....
That said, just because it is possible to make relationships does not validate a view. You could maintain, because Rothschild money was far and widely dispersed within British society, the industrial revolution is a Rothschild thing. And so what? Should that mean we all of a sudden have to discard all the discoveries made since then?
I find it interesting to note how certain people are put on a pedestal of credibility as if these people are preaching the indisputable truth, instead of letting their own critical thinking ability work for a change.
Evolution is bunk.
Darwins ideas are ALL refuted and nothing of the original theory survived. Modern evolutionary science is completely falsified too. We mapped genomes and it turns out nothing makes sense.
I don't think that adaptation and natural selection is bunk. Life has to have the ability to adapt. The universe is a rather hostile place. God wouldn't leave His creation unable to handle changing conditions in the universe. Sadly, progressives love to take science and bastardize it for their benefit ... evolution is something they can sell to "prove" that God doesn't exist.
What I know is bunk is this "primordial ooze to all life on the planet" garbage that progressives sell. They want me to believe that a bunch of astronomically improbable events occurred that led to a puddle of ooze being formed on the planet that grew into all life as we know it. They want every person on Earth to think that this magical ooze that was the result of these improbable events had the ability to form something like a circulatory system or nervous system after a couple billion years. That alone is insane.
Genetics alone looks more like instructions for a machine than the result of some random events. Progressives propose that an instruction set for a machine is what created the machine and laugh at anyone that thinks otherwise ... it makes NO sense. None. All lifeforms on this planet seem to share these "instructions" ... that probably explains why there are a LOT of similarities, but that doesn't prove they're related.
Your opinion is noted.
In my previous post I am not advocating one position or another. I am pointing out the idea of natural selection itself can be traced back to the 11th century and Darwin was not alone in researching this topic in the 19th century. Historical facts, you might say.
With this in mind a tantalizing question appears:
-how does your opinion, as detailed below, relate to what I wrote? a. refutation? b. survival of the original hypothesis? c. falsification of modern evolutionary theory? d. mapping of gnomes? e. nothing making sense?
Surely, you now see how ....unrelated your comment is, as you are mistaking the historical facts for the contents of an hypothesis written by Darwin. This is not an invitation to show you have cause to opine on these matters. I merely made use of a rhetorical device to demonstrate the futility of your opinion in relation to what I wrote. I am sure there is a time and place to espouse these ideas of yours, but not with my post as a cause.
That would be forum sliding.
“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped.“

But hey, trust the science.
Trust George Orwell, then. I'll stick with logical and critical thinking.
