I have questions for Prime Creator, myself. Upon contemplation, on the question of what You would do if you were The One...
The idea of magic (i.e. things we don't understand yet, along with some forever mysteries) coming into play fires the imagination. Does the waving of a magic wand heal one little ill at a time? Primarily because a population such as ours would be best served by not blasting everything we've ever known to smithereens, letting the broken pieces try to reform themselves into a cohesive unit again.
Even God has limits, and there are so many moving parts to this Earthly unfolding that right now, our job is literally to hold the highest and best timeline for all of Humanity...for every form of life this gorgeous planet supports. We have to find ways to keep our thoughts positive and on Love, and what we want for our world.
It's a powerful antidote we have that may be quite underused. Find ways to be happy and at peace inside...
The limits of logistics and practicality, no? Do you reckon it would be Divine for God to just make everything nice for everybody in all of creation? What would you do if you were God?
But it's a sick joke to put people on this plane to suffer untold cruelty and never even let their voices be heard. How long have people been born, sold to slavery only to die miserably and we the people never knowing it happened. Did those people deserve to "live" like that? Manmade religion obfuscates what the right thing to do should be. Founding fathers stood up, became martyrs and fought for freedom. But now we're supposed to turn our cheek? When our people are being hurt, tortured, and dying? Trust the plan, God is on our side, ncswic! Right?
In the first testament, God gave the jews all these rules to follow cause they're fuck ups. He killed many of them to scare them into following these rules. Then Jesus comes to the scene to save man, preaching love and teaching us how to behave as Christians, contradicting some of the old rules, and God, his father, sends him to be murdered?????
I know I sound like a doomer, but my soul is utterly crushed by everything going on. Been awake since 2000s. Worked my ass off to be independent only to see it all crumble because of COVID. Live righteously and suffer greatly for it. What a Christian life. Meanwhile hunter biden can fuck prostitutes en masse on OUR DIME, be a druggie and still stroll up to the WH lawn in a fine silk suit with his 3rd child from his third baby mama.
So now, the God that is all powerful is saying that we have to behave a certain way to get into heaven. This certain way has been hidden from the population for probably millenia. And we're supposed to WANT to go to heaven, to be with this all powerful God in eternity, the one who sent his son to die terribly, who let all these people suffer on earth? Really? That's the pitch?
That's some munchausen by proxy shit right there. Or some sadistic 11 year old fucking shit up in the simulation.
I like your response a lot, ‘why is our existence not a paradise?’ essentially, right? Limits exist as humanity has discovered in math, y=1/x as x approaches infinity, y approaches 0, but never reaches there, as that function is still 1 fraction of whatever x is.
Limits may exist for God too, operating by limits that God put in place to achieve balance in the universe. There are divine reasons we are probably never meant to understand or be able to comprehend, and I’m personally fine with that. It’s fun to think about philosophically, but not something I believe I or anyone else on this earth will ever know.
"If God always stepped in to eliminate every problem ...."
God cannot do that. Why? God voluntarily limited himself in one area: his children. Why? Because of Love. In order that his children could be part of his own creation work, co-creators, and therefore inheritors of his work and his love, he gave a part of himself to us, in the form of free will. It's not that God had to choose that. He chose, freely, because of Love. A Father limits himself if it means his son or daughter are given the opportunity to become truly one with him by playing a part in the work, even if that part is tiny, miniscule. Thus, God cannot (or rather, will not) make us love him. Rather, he gives us the free choice, while always working to bring us to the place to make the RIGHT choice, because He knows, our choosing to love him is the path for our own greatest happiness. Thus, he is always motivated by Love. For US. Truly for US.
Thus, God's work and will are accomplished only by this formula: God's responsibility (What God can and must do) + Human responsibility (what you or I can and must do) = Fulfillment of God's Plan.
God sets up his plan, predestines us to do what we must, so that the plan is fulfilled, but then he steps back and let's us choose. If we fail, then he extends the plan, and sets up someone else in our place, to do what we could not. And if that person fails, God sets it up again, and chooses another person, and predestines them, and so until someone does it right. THis is why the providence of salvation takes so long. Not because of God or Christ, but because he deliberately incorporated our role as a necessary and integral part of the work.
God set it up this way, as a JOINT PROJECT, out of Love. In order that when the Creation is complete, we as his children actually had a hand in completing and perfecting it. He did this so that we are not simply spectators, or servants, but actual children, small individualized expressions of His own nature. Even if our portion or responsibility is 0.00001% and our Father's is 99.99999%, he set it up like this because of Love.
God put Himself in that sort of position, because of love, unselfish love. And that's the reason God cannot simply reach down or reach in and make evil go away. We humans had a role in creating Evil, and We humans have to play a role in cleaning it up. God will do 99.99999% of the heavy lifting, (more like the Father does 98% and Christ does 1.9999%) but each of us must also do our (symbolic) 0.00001% in order for the thing to work.
THAT is why God had to recruit Noah, then had to recruit Abraham, then Moses, then the Israelites. He had to get them to do 0.00001% to set up the situation where he could bring Christ Jesus. Then, God still has to recruit his saints, and recruit you and I to do our tiny, miniscule portion or responsibility (which essentially to believe and then put that belief into action) so that things can unfold properly. We are finally at the point today where God's 98% and Christ's 1.99999% have been perfectly fulfilled, and our accumulated human 0.000001% (accumulated through the works of all the righteous people and saints in history and righteous and saints living today) has reached the point where the 100% has been locked in.
THIS is why the Cabal is being destroyed now, and THIS is why the great awakening is happening. God's been working on this project for many more thousands of years than we can imagine.
We are standing at the completion point of all God's providential work in human history, since the fall of Adam and Eve and the recruiting of the first champion, Abel.
We are that blessed. We stand in a generation that all our descendants will call truly Blessed. Because we are the one's overseeing the final Brick in the completion of God's CITY of restoration providence.
Each of us is far, far more blessed than we can imagine. To be here, alive, now.
You don't know the situation, none of us do. Personally I believe that God uses most of his powers on keeping Heaven/the afterlife/whatever dimension He is in safe and awesome and in his complete control.
And that Earth is seen the same way that we look at...Somalia, perhaps.
He had to take an L on Earth, but the afterlife is probably a way better place.
im sorry if this comes across as too dismissive of suffering but think of it like this - the reality of the gift of eternal life makes any measurable length of time essentially irrelevant.
The lesson we're learning now is that he didn't mind breaking a few eggs. As in letting innocent children be raped and murdered. But hey, we're learning so it's fine.
With his reduced level of awareness, now, does he even know what it's like?

God has no limits.
You might be thinking of certain desert deities. Many people refer to them as "God," but they are not.
The limits of logistics and practicality, no? Do you reckon it would be Divine for God to just make everything nice for everybody in all of creation? What would you do if you were God?
I agree, God is all powerful.

See answer above (or wherever it shows up). What would you do if you were God?

Are you asking what god thinks of himself?
If God always stepped in to eliminate every problem then what would be the point of life on Earth?
"If God always stepped in to eliminate every problem ...."

Well said. The 40,000 foot view!
Nice write up
agree. struggle is part of life and makes us better.
He's aware and does nothing.
You don't know the situation, none of us do. Personally I believe that God uses most of his powers on keeping Heaven/the afterlife/whatever dimension He is in safe and awesome and in his complete control.

A teacher can teach his students what is on the test, but he can't make them study and he can't take it for them.
I didn't dislike your comment, however. It is a logically sound question, particularly for someone who isn't steeped in doctrine.
That's cute. You do realize we're talking about some horrific stuff here, right? You're just fine with that?
im sorry if this comes across as too dismissive of suffering but think of it like this - the reality of the gift of eternal life makes any measurable length of time essentially irrelevant.
What lessons would be learned if God fixed everything to perfect for us ?
The lesson we're learning now is that he didn't mind breaking a few eggs. As in letting innocent children be raped and murdered. But hey, we're learning so it's fine.
Free will is awesome and a big bitch at the same time.
What a small minded response.
