The term was taken from the article. Getting the axe in my circles doesn't mean killing them. It means taking them out of their position to influence children, and society in general.

Some might argue that it is not so far-fetched to think that these people deserve to be killed, whether by axes or what have you for promoting these things with public funds for the purpose of corrupting kids and disrupting the moral fabric of society. I think most people would not consider simply firing the perpetrators to be sufficient punishment (personally I think jail is the obvious punishment that most people would consider appropriate), so I made a sarcastic comment about literally "axing" them being the more obvious interpretation of your odd comment. I think most people took it as a joke but I get that you maybe don't have quite the sense of humor that some do. But to clarify, it was just a joke, not a call for violence. And of course, any punishment should be done lawfully.
