This happened to me too!
Had brunch with the family on Easter. Then 2 days later my 1 year old was getting fussy and then vomited. 2 days from that I got extremely sick to my stomach. I was fine all day, then around dinner time I thought I was hungry, so I ate, and then threw it up within 10 mins. I threw up about every hour until about 3am.
Its aweful, and I'm still not 100%.
Yup 48hrs is about right for food poisoning.
Can be any amount of time, really. Symptoms can present quickly, but worsen at a slower or faster rate and suddenly you are either dying or recovering.
Not a fun experience
i had food poisoning in March. I could have won the gold for olympic vomiting. Was the sickest (stomach related) I have ever been in my life.
Activated charcoal is ur best friend.
Best advice! It’s a great idea for someone to always have some on hand.
And clay. I have 3 different kinds - work fast to shorten the agony.
Clay is amazing. Works quickly on any bite/sting (also) drawing out poison/injected junk.
For those who aren’t familiar, make a paste, goop on bite, let dry, rinse off. May have to repeat. Eases pain and itch almost immediately.
(Not medical advice.)
Sounds like food poisoning, Goyard.
I have heard of the same thing from a few people. Just sudden vomiting. Heard grape juice helps to clear it up.
Just read about salmonella. Symptoms can start 6 hours to 6 days after infection.
Interesting, I remember an article saying there may be future diseases in plants and animals. At my supermarket in Australia yesterday, the spinach had been recalled off of the shelves due to...salmonella contamination...
