I know many on this board are praying Christian brothers and sisters. I need help that only God can provide. I have been praying for my 67 y/o brother to be found safe and to be taken to medical care ASAP.
I got word earlier today he was showing signs of aphasia and delusions, both sudden onset. He has gone missing as of several hours ago.
The local PD is looking for him, so far without success. Given his state of mind, I have grave concerns for his safety.
Please pray that my brother, Brian, will be found safe and will get the help he needs.
NEWS: After being missing all night, he has just been found and is receiving medical care. Thank you all for your prayers, and above all, thank you Jesus!
Dear Lord, you are the good shepherd, your sheep know your voice. Please call to Brian so that he hears you. Let him know you are with him, and lead him to safety. Lead those looking for him to where he is. If he is having a medical emergency, provide the medical personnel with the wisdom & discernment to diagnose and treat him properly. Strengthen Brian, and all those who are worried about Brian, with your presence, draw them to your promise of salvation in Christ Jesus, and fill them with your Holy Spirit. I ask all this in Jesus' Holy name, Amen.
Amen.🙏
Father, please blanket RickRoller's brother Brian with your protection, keep Brian safe and still his heart to free him from fear. Dear Lord, if it be Your will please give Brian clarity of thought so that he may be returned to his loved ones.
I do wonder if God enjoys the aliases he now hears thrown in the prayers these days, haha.
He obviously has a sense of humor
The Lord's proyection is shining all around Brian to keep him safe.
Amen
Amen.
Amen!
Amen!
Amen.
Powerful prayer, btw, thanks.
Amen- you covered things I missed
In Revelation 5:8 it talks about "golden bowls full of incense which are the prayers of the saints." What a delightful fragrance it must be when all those prayers come together!
Amen
I do so love your prayers. Thank you.
It is the Spirit working through me. The Good Shepherd was prompted to my mind as I started my prayer. I've recently been prompted to draw more on God's Word in my prayers. I feel like the Spirit is teaching me "the fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much". Righteous only comes through Jesus & his Word points to him. I am in awe. It frees me up to be less me and more him, though my own experiences can also be useful. On another prayer thread the husband of a woman with MS was in the hospital because of a brain bleed. I have a loved one with MS, so I made sure to include his wife in my prayer too. God is so very good. Romans 8:28 starts: "And we know all things work together for good to those who love God,..." I am amazed at how many of my experiences, both good & bad, have prepared me to pray on behalf of others. Romans 8:28 ends: "...to those according to His purpose." Ah! There it is - according to His purpose. I am reminded of Joseph telling his brothers, "You meant it for evil, but God meant it for good." My hard times have given me a heart for others according to God's purpose. Thank you for your encouraging words!
Amen
