Just because it gets beat to death every cycle doesn't make it any less on its own. Trump beats election fraud to death, but it's still just as important.
Your comparing apples to arbys brisket sandwich there bruh
To touch on abortion… One’s own personal feelings/beliefs do not suddenly make something ultimately right or wrong. That type of thinking is the flaw with liberals, and sadly, with fundamentalists as well.
The right/best thing to do is what’s being done, which is stated rights. Want to be a cum dumpster and not be responsible for what happens? Well then get on birth control or live in a state that allows abortion.
My primary point however - look at the times when abortion has been raised in mainstream media. There is a direct correlation to there being either an election looming or some major events that both parties voters were agreeing on occurring. Currently, that would be the Ukraine situation and hunters laptop - but now, voila, distraction with abortion and suddenly we have division again.
Idk, we as a nation spawned ourselves into existence with this banger of an opening monolog:
But what lays in front of us as states rights is another example of compromising with the left until we have to shift our values time after time.
In any case, again, the reason it's a hot button topic that we get bludgeoned with is because it's always all talk but nothing done. But that doesn't make the topic any less important. Now it finally seems like we're primed to see something happen, but for all we know it's another head fake and false hope.
I feel you there. Until it's done, there is no reason to celebrate the leak.
Not sure your point of quoting declaration?
Also, maybe I read the next part wrong but we’re you saying You see states rights as compromising with the left?
Yep that’s exactly what hot button issues are - nothing useful will be done. Just like the race card - no one is willing to try and solve the situation, cuz it’s too valuable to play when voting time comes around.
You're on a roll with the good takes. I felt for a long time I was the only one here not frothing at the mouth for "moar babies"
It's worse because I've been considering having one or two daughters but the attitudes on here make me completely uninterested in Even considering the idea and incredibly worried for what world they'd grow up in if Trump/Q team fail and all that is left is deranged libtards and fundamentalist theocrats.
Simile boat my friend and time is ticking as I’m 38 and my wife isn’t far behind me. I don’t want to mention it to her because she is the type who will become consumed easy if leadership (me) wavers at all - but I do have some serious concerns, I also know folks like us having kids is the only possible way to reversing all of this if DS gets toppled even a little bit.
Scary times and I wish I could just go back to how my mind was a few years back when this was all just an occasional conspiracy musing vs being reality. I’m not a big prayer/religious person, but I fuckin pray to whatever is out there that Q team or whoever are real and succeed.
But that's just it, Fren. It's beat to death because most pro lifers are just virtue signaling. If all you are doing is arguing on the internet, then you're just as useless as the ones in other ideologies who do the same. You say shit to feel better and that's it.
Pro life is a lifestyle. We are not a pro life society and the pro life movement is a joke of a movement overall. What we should be doing along with supporting pregnancy centers is working towards removing the burdens of pregnancy. I've seen people here and elsewhere screech to no end, "we must have more babies!" Well, no. We need to fix this joke of a society first. A society that is currently supported by both parents or potential parents working 40+ hours a week to barely make ends meet is NOT a society worth keeping let alone repopulating. Until we can get to a point where women are given the entire 9 months plus or their whole lives to sit back and do nothing except care for children. Until a household consisting of two adults and three dependents can sustain a household on one income, it's not worth saving.
It amuses me how many self proclaimed pro lifers are vehemently against paid maternity leave and the welfare system. But go on and tell me how we need more tax payers on the plantation and how the poor, rich corporations can't sustain it. Bullshit. Stop buying the lies and clutching your pearls. If we're serious about saving America then it's time we talk about things that we've for all the wrong reasons clung to and need to let go of.
Damn, good comment. I have been saying for weeks, no one wants to answer the socialism question. I bring up adoption and no one wants it, "giving up your kid is almost as evil"
And that's besides the point..why should a position based purely on religion be the default position of a country that plays pretend democracy?
Let's just be done with it and call it a theocracy, but if that's what it comes down then what's even the point of Q?
Exactly. If Jesus comes to establish His Kingdom, that's that. We'll figure it out from there.
Until such time, we must challenge the precepts and preserve the Constitution. Even Jesus wasn't above hard evidence and proof. The Southern Baptists love to toss around "dOn'T bE a DoUbTiNg ThOmAs". Okay let's examine. Thomas, being the sane one said unless he could put his finger in the nail holes, the claims Jesus had Risen were all bunk. So what happens? Jesus appears, proves Himself by letting Thomas examine the wounds for himself and then He... Forgives him... gasp I know! He doesn't smote him for lack of faith He forgives Thomas... Interesting so Jesus isn't insecure nor is He above proving Himself contrary to the blind faith teachings of the church.
If Jesus wanted us to have a theocracy He would have left an instruction manual. Instead Rome remained intact for many years after He ascended, with the promise of retuning to establish the Kingdom then. Until such time, Christians are commanded to love their enemies, take care of the poor and a bunch other shit they conveniently ignore while pursuing material things and distractions.
Far be it from me to judge as I too enjoy such things. However a theocracy is not the answer. Even Jesus doesn't want to force the issue. In fact, He never did. The people came to hear Him, something most Christians forget. Of course it doesn't help that Christianity follows Paul's interpretation of Jesus and not so much the Man Himself.
