The FBI went from the #1 crime solving agency in the world... to being the #1 criminal organization in the world.
No 1. might be a bit strong. The Clowns have been dark and dirty for so long, I don't see how they could be eclipsed.

The FBI and CIA were created to secretly be the tools of the Deep State. We just didn't know it.
those shows are all propaganda to convince you that the normal cops have tools they don't and that the deep state orgs are actually good and rely on the local good cops to share that tech, instead of local corrupt cops with little tools and a deep state network with tons of its own secret toys.
