Intriguing confirmations about Twitter. Elon estimating the bot activity is 20% or higher, and his $44 billion bid was assuming that the bot activity was at the 5% or lower Twitter formally reported.
He is forcing them to prove their actual bot activity, causing them to expose themselves. While pissing off all of their advertisers and shareholders in the process, for falsifying numbers and therefore significantly lowering the value of Twitter. Elon baited them with $44 billion, knowing full well the bot activity was not what they reported, knowing he could get a better deal, while simultaneously exposing them.
But the most genius aspect of this plan, is as a CITIZEN, he’s exposing Twitter at warp speed, on the world stage. As opposed to a government intervention and a years long investigation with a snail’s pace Justice System. Elon got them on the hook with too much money to refuse, then made them admit all their deepest darkest secrets within a month. The government could never do what Elon is doing at the speed he is doing it.
Most importantly, it appears to be organic. If the US MIL directly intervened, it would be bad optics and the left-wing media would cause mass turmoil and claim it’s a military coup, so and so forth. So maybe the US MIL and white hats found a workaround? A path of least resistance.
I cant assume it’s a coincidence that the US MIL’s highest paid contractor is flawlessly carrying out a highly calculated plan, with militaristic precision, that just so happens to dismantle an enemy of the US MIL, at lightning speed, in the middle of a propaganda/information war.
Yes, I’m suggesting the US MIL is utilizing Elon as a proxy/asset to conduct operations as a citizen that the US MIL would not be unable to do from their government position.
The civilian route was exponentially faster, highly effective, appears organic, easy for the public to digest, and the mission is accomplished with relative ease and little resistance.
“Military tactics are like unto water; for water in its natural course runs away from high places and hastens downwards. So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong and to strike at what is weak. Water shapes its course according to the nature of the ground over which it flows; the soldier works out his victory in relation to the foe whom he is facing. Therefore, just as water retains no constant shape, so in warfare there are no constant conditions.”

Sometimes I wonder how / why people write things like Art of War, Art of the Deal, How to Win Friends, etc. (Sun Tzu, Trump, Carnegie). They're basically giving a blueprint to help others defeat / best them.
I can relate to your thinking here. An important and valid strategic question/reasoning. But here is what I come up with if I wonder or ask myself that question:
Firstly, none of this is secret. It's out there already.
Secondly, here's the rub: evil has to use evils methods. Evil is rooted in a corruption, a lie, a false purpose (enslavement of free peoples). Thus, its capacity to use uncorrupted tools, methods, etc, is severely limited.
Contrastively, Good uses methods, techniques and strategies that resonate and reverberate with Good's purpose and motive.
While there is some overlap, the truth is that Evil's methodologies and purposes are always a perversion of the original, Heavenly methodology and purpose.
For this reason, being open about methdology or technique is not a big issue. Truth and goodness thrive in the light. On the other hand, lies and evil require darkness in order to work and live. Evil has to keep itself secret on some level (deception), but Good can be open under certain conditions, because Evil cannot make use of many of the resources (honesty, purity, unselfishness) and methods (sacrifice) that Good uses.
Least, that's my take on it.
In short, it's an information war. Evil wins by increasing deception, hiddenness and manipulation; good wins by increasing honesty, openness and empowerment.
Excellent analysis. Well said and right on the nose.

Well, here is an upvote; although that apostrophe says it wants out of there, Rooks :) tee hee

You know the fsstest way to fuck people is to NOT present them with good versus evil.
But you put good versus best in front of a man. Most will settle for good.
Then good becomes best and the next time they select good its even less good than before. The slide continues all the way to evil.
Good and best is the usual choice the devil gives. No compromise, we want best.

Makes sense.
Eloquent. Succinct.
I am fond of saying a lie only works in the short term, but the truth eventually wins in the long term
I find a long-term macro perspective helps.
The Universe was created by God, the Father, who designed it for good and as a dwelling for his children to be born, grow and eventually reunite with him after a life of growing the heart.
But, at a crucial juncture, one of the key servants, a spiritual being, became self-deluded, enamored of his own intellect, and destroyed himself by approaching and corrupting God's original children. (The spiritual beings we know as angels were created as servants to assist in the construction and running of the universe, but humans were created as God's children, his heirs.)
The original couple were thus undermined and corrupted before they could reach maturity, and so the 'fallen' world began, based on a lie.
God has been recovering ground throughout history, inch by painful inch, step by bloody step. But now the foundation has been set, the failure of the original couple corrected and restored, and so, the lie is now crumbling, everywhere around the world. And the exposure of all the lies, deceit, and evil plans, is part of that process.
So, indeed, the lie works only in the short term. The Kingdom of the Lie has lasted our entire painful history, but the conclusion of that history, and the collapse of that world, is the true beginning we were meant to have so long ago.
God has been playing the long-term game, because God knows what you have said; truth wins eventually in the long term.
Sun Tzu clearly just wanted to make the NYT best seller's list to gain more followers.
Yeah, and that Dale Carnegie, what a weak loser
I'd never be able to do what Trump can, even if I was given training on how he does it. I don't have the personality.
Yep, those three idiot losers really choked and are scraping the bottom of the dustbin of history, all right.
Once again your searing insight pierces the veil of ignorance we were all trying to see through.
