Yeah, we'll just have to take our coffee on the back porch and pick off some fresh venison as the herds saunter by. And maybe trap some of the bunnies that come out to eat our grass in the evenings....
Unfortunately, as far as an emergency food source goes, the deer in southern NY have been decimated by some disease. It's great for preservation of most outdoor plants and any un-protected gardens though :)
Agreed, anything beyond 2 weeks (probably closer to 3 days) means we'll all be dead. We aren't hunter gatherers...we can barely drive without GPS

Here in Michigan the sand hill crane population has grown to nuisance level. Ive heard them called the sirloin of the skies.
Definitely abundant fish and game where Im at.
