To any fellow Georgians, why did Trump endorse Herschel Walker and why shouldn't I vote for Latham Saddler? Saddler looks to me to be the most MAGA candidate and apparently even worked in Trumps White House.
Also, does Trump endorse based on who has a higher chance of winning because of celebrity so he keeps his win streak up? It's almost as if him picking winners is more important than who actually wins. Anyone else feel that way?
Hershel is based, God, Family and Country. He and Trump have been friends for ever. He's not a RINO.
Based doesn't mean he is the best candidate. I am not opposed to him necessarily but the other guy looks like a better candidate. Herschel has no experience.

People keep saying that. Look at what he did, in NY no less with the mob. No political experience? No executive experience? Trump was the perfect guy for the job. Now having politcal capital with the deep state/RINO's is something else but I would never say Trump had no experience.
Trump was well established before running, I agree with that. He knew most, if not, all of them from prior engagements and events. He also really loves America, and you can easily see this. Herschel had a very successful career in sports, obviously, and seems that he's been successful with entrepreneurship.
I don't know a ton about him, but I do trust Trump. He's made a couple of questionable endorsements, that many here questioned, but I don't feel that Herschel is one of them. I could be wrong, I haven't done a lot of DD into him as I don't live in GA, but I don't get that "off" feeling with him either...not like I did with Dr. Oz.

Not being obtuse. I was commenting on Herschel walkers lack of political experience and comparing it to Trumps lack of experience in elected office. There is a difference between life experience, of which Trump has plenty, and political experience which was the spirit of the op’s question. Sometimes things just get lost in translation in a chat forum.
Politicians are supposed to represent people, not political parties. Experience in life and being a leader with good morals is more representative of average Joe than someone with political "experience"
That's my point though. Who has executive experience to run the country before being elected president? Your argument appears to be governors only. My argument differs in that the government is a corporation so anyone who has run a large corporation has the necessary experience. Trump filled that role excellently.
Herschel on the other hand has no experience at all in these arenas. He has only celebrity to back him which is why I think he has been silent this entire campaigning season.
If the MAGA vote is split between them that opens the door to one of the RINOS

Maybe. Herschel doesn't show up for debates or candidate meetings. Apparently he has been out of sight for this race which to me is weird. If he wants to represent Georgia then he should be out talking to Georgians. People that hide from the public or their competitors have something to hide.
I'm much more worried about Purdue. He's a big business guy. He has RINO written all over him and a proven record of being slimy.

100% agree. Plus, he didn’t back Trump on the fraud initially and only half heartedly did so later on. But I don’t think we need to worry…Perdue won’t win this. I listened to them debate. Perdue nailed him on the election fraud, which was good but Kemp nailed right back on Purdue’s record. It was basically a draw.
That's the problem though Kemp is so dirty I can smell him all the way out here in Stone Mtn. I figured this out though. Notice that Trump is pushing HARD on a MAGA LT Gov. :)

There is no way the former Bulldog won’t win against Warnock. Unless of course they cheat. This may be one reason for the endorsement. Democrats will break with the party line to vote for him. Hence, if he loses, the cheating will be just that much more obvious. Like Trump, he is not a career politician. His intentions are not wrapped up in quid pro quo obligations. He will make a good senator.
