The fear these people suffered from was not fear of COVID.
It was fear of being ostracized from the mainstream herd if they didn't follow orders like all the other Good People.
The MSM feed this sheep heard mentality and amplified it 24x7.

There are both the ones that feared being ostracized and those that were truly scared. My brother I could tell it was a mixture of trump derangement and not wanting to fight with his wife who wanted to be a part of the herd. I have a next-door neighbor who was truly panicked for 16 + months about covid.
My in-laws are still freaked out. They do go out but nowhere near like they used to. People really do need to hang for this.
