Just a couple points here... I'm NOT seeing this being reported anywhere else. While TGP is pretty reliable with reporting, I'd have expected this to be bigger news. Tweets like this should have sparked commentary elsewhere, IMO. I may just have missed it and will be happy to give it a 24-hour period to see if it solidifies. Second question is - does voting ON gun control mean voting FOR gun control? I'm not a huge fan of LG, but the way the swamp creatures speak is not often straight forward..

I dislike Lindsey as much as anyone, but based on his actual tweets, it sounds like he is just saying he is ready for them to be brought forth for a vote. Saying he is ready to vote on these bills doesn't entail whether his vote will be yea or nay. Sounds to me like he is trying to rush the vote, to pre-empt a major media propaganda push for months on end about gun control, summer riots and threats weakening certain congresspersons' resolve, etc.
We'll see, but I'm not gonna be drawn into 2A dooming based on shit this flimsy. That has nothing to do with Q. "Guns are safe".
