Translation. If the deep state cabal hates and fears him so much they arrested him then clearly he's worth voting for.
Their goal is to find a way to charge him and make it so his name cannot be on the ballot.

He should highlight his ordeal and use the law enforcement corruption angle as a foil to pick off a few votes from the "defund the police" crowd. Who better to fix the problems of corrupt law enforcement, than a high profile victim of corrupt law enforcement?
