Owe yeah, zero doubt that half of them have state of the art safe rooms built into their homes. That's why they made a bunch of movies about them. They think that's normal. Everyone has one. Bullshit. Normal people never even heard of it until they made a movie about it.
I think we both know there is nothing safe about trapping yourself in a concrete box without a weapon to defend yourself with.
Yeah, sure they are real. A redneck in south GA had never even heard of the idea until they saw it in a movie. What the hell use would they have for a safe room? They don't need to be safe from anyone. People who attack them are the ones that need safety. And yeah security people have been getting money from rich people for a very long time to make them safe from the people they stole their money from.
Thank you for pointing out something very important. People selling their services and goods to evil fucking lunatics should probibly reconsider where their loyalties are. I'm not saying they(the security people) are evil. I'm just saying at some point its not worth the fucking money. Would you build George Soros a safe room? I wouldn't. And these fuckers that work as body guards for people they know first hand are shit-bag lunatics. I hope they are standing right next to them when the mob comes for that shit-bag.
You make it sound like these people just sold a toothbrush in a convenience store. Weapons and defensive tools both have a responsibility tied to them that can't be ignored. People need to start doing the right thing. Not making a buck. Safe rooms are a blurry area fine, but a lot of other stuff isn't.

"redneck in south GA" -- Tornadoes.
People have them here for hurricanes too.

Most CEOs, but particularly tech all have bunkers. Hell I've read about the same people that have a helicopter on stand by for doomsday scenarios.
If thunderdome arrives in Sept. when the trucks stop rolling because they can't afford diesel, trapped in a safe room would be my worst nghtmare.
Safe rooms are there to protect you until you get outside aid.
These people probably have video games, movies, full kitchens and bedrooms.
It's probably bigger than just a safe "room", it's probably a straight up bunker.
Hell in certain areas I wouldn't even be surprised if connected people weren't literally connected with tunnels, blast doors and such.
