Any sauce on this? I'll sticky this post if you got it.
I do not; imported it...a quick check pulled up a couple of papers with data that seemed to refute those numbers; but then it’s important to know who’s finding/doing the studies. My bad for not recognizing that a meme stating data “facts” need to be scrutinized before sharing. Probably should delete.
Id be interested in the actual numbers.
But yea, if I sticky something I'll hear it from everyone if it's not right.
Sorry man, not trying to be the meme police.
No sorries necessary; a learning experience for me. I saw the meme, and although I agreed with the premise, my desire to quickly share it blinded me from recognizing that it provided “facts.” Part of our charge, especially in this forum, is to perform sufficient due diligence to (at least attempt to) segregate fact from fiction, inciteful theory from folly, based on supporting evidence (I’ve been following since ~ 12/2017). Thus an appropriate hand slap on your part. If you would like (to alleviate any residual guilt on your part) would love to have a Pepe icon added to my screen name...🐸
I don't watch TV
Let that sink in.
Same here. Got rid of cable years ago.
And I take no drugs. Most persons my age - yeah I'm a Boomer - take at least a half dozen pills by the time they are 50. Not me. I find natural and lifestyle ways to keep that Big Pharma garbage out of my system. My doctor is amazed that my husband and I don't even consider drugs for every ache and pain. Not that we see our doctor often because we're healthy.
I haven’t had a “doctor” for 20 years. They can’t “cure” anything. They only manage decline with drugs. No thanks.
I agree. Sadly most doctors are die-hard Big Pharma-supporters. Not all, mind you. There are some decent doctors still out there who don't prescribe drugs at the drop of a hat. Just hard to find. Our Doc says he gets requests from patients all the time to put them on this or that. TV commercials most likely had a hand in that.
We go every 2 years for a check-up because my husband's health insurance requires this.
Our doctor did diagnose my husband's skin cancer on his back about 7 years ago. It was removed and hasn't come back.
Because of the cancer, my husband mostly gave up sugar - which feeds cancer cells - and now only has sweets at holidays. He says he feels so much better once he gave up daily sodas, cookies and candy. Fortunately, I don't miss daily sweets either as I love free-range eggs, chicken, grass-fed meat, veggies and savory stuff.
I just discovered kefir. This is an amazing pro-biotic. IMO much better than yogurt.
That's good stuff!
We medicate ourselves so that we can endure our lipstick-on-a-pig form of slavery and the decadence around us so that we can survive here without losing our shit entirely. I love my country. I want it to heal so that we can also.
And the cocktails of childhood vaccinations...
While I don't have any trouble believing this could be real, it would be nice to have the actual source of this info.
And at least half of each commercial talks about the possible side effects. I don't watch much tv but I do have it as background noise while I read.
I once had a period where I’d start to get shaky between meals. Blood sugar related- so I cut out carbs and sweets. Was totally gone in a few weeks.
Had a tooth ache and just waited. Totally gone in 2 weeks.
Had a rash on my armpit. Just cut out fast food and dairy. Gone in 3 weeks.
Once had Stomach ulcers- cut out sugar and dairy. Gone in 3 weeks.
Gall bladder attacks- did some liver flushes.
Asthma - changed diet and lifestyle.
Headaches- drink water and avoid media.
Seems like 99% of the things people take drugs for are totally curable in a few weeks. It’s a shame people fall for the medical sham.
Sinus infections typically only last 2-3 days longer without anti-biotics than with. Source: the internet. I had a sinus infection the last 2.5 weeks, no antibiotics this time. So, lasted about the same as my last one with antibiotics. I learned some alternative otc meds and other things. Not perfect, but better than the heavy duty stuff that gives you other infections and really strip your body.
Moo?
Wasn’t referring to Holstein calf hummers, but good point...
More sci fi. Every ounce of us (US Citizens) has been more over sold than gold on the markets.
The Pharma commercials that I can’t watch …. I immediately change the channel, they bother me deeply: from the ‘sing songy’ jingles, the horrible premise, the stupid names of the drugs and the names change every two weeks … I’m convinced the Pharma commercials are a major part of MK Ultra and Operation Mocking Bird…
My biggest question: Alcohol manufacturers cannot advertise or at least they are heavily regulated until recently … when I grew up alcohol was not allowed to be advertised in print or TV - but big Pharma can run 80 commercials an hour 24 hours a day …. That’s why I take no meds ! All designed to addict you or kill you - fuck big Pharma ….
Right on. Plus the people in them are always doing something pleasant and fun. It's messaging to get the viewer to think: "Gee, if I take this drug, life will be all sunshine and rainbows again."
