Yup at one point in Winter I was taking 80,000 IU (split morning and night 40,000 IU x 2) for over a month, then to a stable dose of 40,000IU with zero problems. Dropping this to 10,000IU in the summer months.

Vitamin D is stored in the liver. It does not flush out of your system like vitamin C does. By taking high dose supplements you can accumulate a toxic amount in your liver. The safest way to obtain it is through sun exposure. You will never get too much that way.
That is why you store it, so that you can use it later.
No-one suggested that a person should consume 2 billion IU, or about a million daily doses, by high dose standards. Sounds off to me, one would have to consume nothing but jars of vitamin D, all day long, and nothing else. duh.
2 cups of chaga mushroom tea daily. 1 tsp= 42,000 IU. Clif High and Gregg Phillips use this and fenbendazole to stave off cancer. Been on the fenben too. All preventative. I feel great.
that is 40000*500 = 20 000 000 IU, that is still at least 20 000 capsules, that are ALWAYS sold as 1000 IU each.

So, in other words, by their safety warning, any sane person can comfortably eat a handful every day. They are expensive though, so why not just eat 10 - 20 of them, not 20 000?

Your body has mechanisms to deal with vitamin D.

They also used lethal doses of HCQ in their study to prove it is unsafe, right?
