Holy shit, I’ve been looking for the first link for 2-3 years since The_Donald was scrubbed. Your comment partly answered some questions I had around this.
Any expanded reading?
Fun stuff! Now Jimstone is claiming that the Bee Gees How Deep Is Your Love always used to say "I need to know," but now everywhere it says "I need to learn." Do a search and all of the lyrics listed on the internet and all of the videos show learn. So what was it?

Here is what I found listed as the correct lyrics:
"And you come to me on a summer breeze
Keep me warm in your love, then you softly leave
And it's me you need to show
How deep is your love
How deep is your love
I really mean to learn (Or?? - I really need to know)
'Cause we're living in a world of fools
Breaking us down when they all should let us be
We belong to you and me"
NOTE: "I really need to know" makes more sense and it rhymes with the previous lyric of "And it's me you need to show".
Crazy!
I just listened to a Cover of this song from 2007, she says “learn” in that version. (The Bird and The Bee is the cover artist)
Here is a television performance live with her in plaid. No way in hell did they ever were black.

ThaQ for sharing, FunGuyKapungi. I forgot what an absolutely stupid song that is.
Just gonna start referring to it as the CERN effect.
Referring to it as the Mandela effect, is just more steps.
Ok, I listened to both videos commenters linked to here - let me offer a New weird. Her voice sounds weird! It definitely sounds lower than I remember - anyone else?
Noticing that too.
I had to go look at the music video myself and what the actual fuck!?!? Why is her skirt black? I have watched that video hundreds of times. It has never been black until today!
Plaidian Effect 🤣
Britney wore black in the video ever since it first aired on TV.
Schoolgirl outfits are not "always plaid." Plaid skirts were worn in some parochial schools. When I was in school, people wore whatever they pleased. I wore jeans in Catholic school. With brown shoes. So what.
People are just allowing their minds to be warped by new crap.
BTW, it's always been Jif, Gov. Connelly and his wife were riding in the car when JFK was shot, and Mandela was never dead in the 80s. None of it has changed just because some yahoo on the internet is trying to mess with your head. I was around for all of it and remember it all clearly. I can remember everything back to the mid 50s.
Yes, I saw the video on MTV when it first came out, and I have a copy on my computer system. Q said to save everything. :)
The one that gets me is Berenstein vs Berenstain bears, but it's been a long time since I've seen one of those books.
Yeah, I was in my late teens when the song and video came out, and I remember the black skirt, too. Mandela Effect is almost always just a case of long lost memories getting scrambled in the brain, not some supernatural mind game.
Congratulations that you are still in your original timeline. You don't speak for everyone else. How easy it is for you to call everyone else crazy. I remember being in school when he died and everyone talking about it. Teachers discussing it with whole classrooms. It was the first time I learned who this man was, so it sticks out. Then years later as an adult, reality shifted, and for many of us history was changed.
Winnie Mandela was in the news a lot in the 80s, but Nelson Mandela was in jail the whole time.
The power of suggestion seems to affect a lot of weak-minded people. I believe what I saw and experienced. I have talked to former classmates, and they can't remember crap about school. I'm always puzzled by that.
You'd be surprised to know how many politicians actually believe that Sarah Palin said she could see Russia from her house. In reality, the so-called comedian on SNL said it. Palin just said that you could see Russia from Alaska, which is actually true.
Teachers lying to you in school is nothing new. I had teachers lie to the class way back in the early 60s. I told her she was wrong, but she insisted the book was correct, even though it was many years old and terribly out of date.
So you dismiss everything i said because your former classmates can't remember crap about school and because you somehow believe every teacher and adult in my life conspired to lie to me about his death. right.
That's not the only ME for me. I have a lot of them, on a personal level that revolve around personal memories so it's not misremembering or suggestion. Because of this experience, I have opened up to the possibility that alternate dimensions in fact exist and maybe we did somehow get blended with another one or two or more.
There's no such thing as other dimensions. That's science fiction. The internet is encouraging people to misremember things wildly. I'm just immune to suggestion. I cannot be hypnotized or gaslit. I don't believe everyone in your life lied to you. The problem is inside you, but caused by internet crap.

Well see... there you are just showing your blatant ignorance.
There is a MINIMUM of 4 dimensions that we can observe.
What part of "other" did you miss? Obviously I meant the fake dimensions that people can disappear into, such as Mr. Mxyzptlk going to the "Fifth Dimension" or evil Kryptonians being banished to the "Phantom Zone" in the Superman comics.
quantum physics disagrees
You are quite the closed minded person aren't you.
When quantum physics can make something disappear into another dimension and then come back while I'm observing it, I'll consider it possible.
Most of what they talk about is strictly theoretical.
I swore the thing was gray or gray/plaid. Wife said the same. Not proud of it, especially considering the url title, but I found a blog from 2015. The OG outfit is on display and the skirt is gray.
For science!:

ETA: I went back to some of the “NOW that’s what I call music” CD commercials. Found the commercial featuring the music vid and the skirt is black. Trippy.

Is someone going to ask Britney!??!

Black
This thread is fucking retarded.
is this a shitpost
*black
What us CERN?
Well this post is misleading as well it's neither black or plaid, it's gray.
Right? I mean, above all... it was definitely not all black.
How is that even cinematographically interesting FOR A POP MUSIC VIDEO?
The echoes from the changes are weird. And the remnants.
What say you?
What timeline are YOU on?
Would have been trivial for her to find a black skirt for that Insta photo.
Personally I remember RWB tartan.
The youtube video has it black. Timeline is fucked up yet again.
My dudes,
Here is the people copying here... all in plaid

Of the six girls, I see five in plaid and the third from the right is in black, (or possibly navy blue). Am I seeing things?
the Mandela effect is the theory of multiple dimensions and the colliding of different dimensions.
glad you cleared up that there is only one dimension and there is no way for them to enter another either naturally or forced.
I think they might be time traveling and changing things
