The flatbed truck is for hauling the extension cord.
Probably ran out of juice on the highway and had to be towed back to a charging station.
The next millionaires: tow truck drivers.
Yeah, and you can bet you will never see an electric tow-truck :)
An electric tow truck operator must be able to do 7 to 9 calls per day. He will never do his job because I learned that most electric pickups need a charge at every 100 miles.
I like the picture of the diesel van towing a gas generator to charge electric car. That died on the side of the road.
Well, this one happened right in front of us on Friday :)
My wife was like 'I don't believe what I'm seeing, I've got to take a picture of this'.
I said 'go ahead, but I'm putting it up on the net if you do' :)
I'm stealing this one, fren. It deserves a wide audience.
Fill yer boots
Kek
Or the one of the Tesla towing a generator 🤣
The irony is rich in this photo. Thanks for posting.
Everything is wrong with it!
Green van towed by tow truck. Apparently, it's not easy being green! https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Kermit+the+frog-+it%27s+not+easy+being+green&atb=v315-1&iax=videos&ia=videos&iai=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DRIOiwg2iHio
Makes a great advertisement for EVs... Maybe you can license the photo to one of the big EV manufacturing companies for big bucks.
Somehow I don't think they'd go for it :D
Please tell me you are joking? :)
I thought the opposite lane being on the right would have tipped you off ;)
Single tire in the rear means this pos van can't carry shit for weight.
It's for delivering shopping, not industrial machinery :)
Silly me for assuming a moving van could be used for moving furniture, appliances, spare wheels/tires and fully loaded mechanic's toolboxes.
It has Asda written all over the side of it. I take it that's not a familiar brand in the US?
Nope.
Ah i see. Online food shopping. That explains the lightweight build of the van.
It's a chain of food supermarkets, fyi :)
Gotcha. Had never heard of it.
