"I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard." - Trump on Jan. 6
I’m confused about what this means. Was Trump intending to gather everyone at another location, closer to the Capitol, after the Ellipse? And for what purpose?
There was the scaffolding for the inaugural stage, but that was unfinished. I don't remember a stage, but it could've easily been lost in the crowd. People who weren't there have no idea how massive the crowd was.
It would really surprise me if a secondary stage he would continue his speech on would be small enough to get lost in the crowd. Trump is not a soapbox man, he's a grand stage man!
Reading it again, it does say it was in front of the supreme court building. I do think there was something there, but details of the march are a little fuzzy in my memory. No one in the crowd stopped there. There were people along the way directing us toward the Capitol, saying that was the meeting location, but they didn't seem to be there in an official capacity, either.

Was there a stage set up there? What happened to it?

I don't recall ever seeing anything there, and pictures I looked through didn't show much, so I have a hard time understanding this second stage story
I wonder why it was scrubbed and when? Did Pence’s letter influence the decision to not go to the second stage?
The false flag happened
Right but what happened to the stage? When was it taken down?
What does this mean?
