Basically we are buying and the important part is registering our shares. The hedge funds have shorted the stock over 200% and have to buy back the borrowed shares. Once we have the float locked and we don’t sell, the price will rise dramatically. Start reading Reddit/superstonk for much more info. We are talking about generational wealth.
Thanks I won’t ask you all my questions I will do more research but when does. The float lock?
Unknown when float locks, here’s a good couple of links to start: https://www.reddit.com/r/Superstonk/comments/njwv6n/the_gme_masters_guide_a_dd_campaign_for_apes/ https://fliphtml5.com/bookcase/kosyg
We are also in the middle of a stock split in the form of a dividend, giving 3 additional stocks to the one you own. It’s a 4 for 1 split, if you own 1 stock, you will get 3 more and end up with 4. They will be worth 1/4 the current cost. But when the price is 1/4 of what it is now, more people will buy.
when HF stop manipulation. TBH. it's been locked for a year. the thing you see is Computershare numbers. Brokers hold some share to justify issuing shorts shares. large companies hold a bunch. the importance of Computer share numbers is those are the shares 100% accounted for and taken out of the pool that can shorted. if you have your shares in fidelity or wherever... those are IOU shares and they can just sell them without your permission. it's in the fine print. there is a lot going on that will take some reading to understand. so what's going to happen is split div, stock jump, fail safes kick in, IOU sold, stock drops, then short sellers run for the door, MOASS. and shorts left will be washing cars at stop lights.
If I bought one share directly computershare.com Can they sell my shares?
no. it cost money to trade in Computer Share and it takes a few days.
these same day trading brokerages float the shares then have a few days to settle the books. this floating causes failed to delivers because they sometimes over stretch and don't balance the books in time. you as a consumer don't realize this till they punish you or restrict a feature for something you did.
Yes,no problem,we have tested it allready,no charge. You can also transfer them back to your brokerage I belive.
I bought thru fidelity, I called and told them I wanted to register with computershare and they did it. You can also message their help desk and they will do it, I have done it both ways. If your shares are in an ira, they will need to tax you for withdrawing. Not sure about other brokers, but, superstonk has info on them.
How hard is it to start a Fidelity account?
Easy and they were giving away money to start one for your kids. Not sure if that’s still happening. Go to fidelity.com and check it out. You can call and see if they have any offers now or how to open an account.
5 minutes,if you want to move the funds fast, wire the money from your bank, takes about an hour vs. 3 days to link your bank acc.
Took me like 5 mins.
What if they are held in my 401k?
Depends on your company, I could only buy Mutual’s or bonds when working, after I retired, I moved the 401k to an ira, then I could buy anything. Easy, fidelity will do for you.
I will do it there.
Fidelity is the easiest, but this guide explains how to do it for a variety of brokerages:
Direct Register with ComputerShare
EDIT: Here are more instructions for other brokers. Direct Register

I don't have much money but i will be dumping all i can in it when it drops again.
Buy in after the split/dividend on Friday. The price will be 1/4 of what it is now, as a 4:1 split will take place after hours on Thursday. You can buy 4 for the price of 1.
Is it true not to buy til after the 22nd due to the stock split? Or should I buy now
Don’t know, I’d wait, superstonk says you can still buy and get the split, but gamestock says if you own on the day of record (July 18th) you are eligible for the split. You can call investor relations at GameStop and they might know. Split is on the 21st and I’m not an investment advisor at all.
Superstonk is wrong. The EX date is today. Today it trades minus the dividend
Is there anything we can do to prevent fuckery? I bought some shares with quest trade, but I’m worried they’ll sell them off on us like robin hood did.
