So i was looking on reddit (i know i know, i mostly use it 99% for a sub dedicated to alcoholics in recovery) and came across a post about Trans (shocker i know).. someone said "you cant be trans its against God" to which somebody else said "post the bible quote thats against transitioning then"
..so i posted “A woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God."
Its already sinking in downvotes 😆
No there's replies but the ones I expected like "b-but those are societal norms from 2000 years ago. "
just reply to that kind of thing with "What was an abomination to the Lord your God. 2000 years ago, still is. Do you want the verse where it shows God doesn't change too?"
But just keep in mind if you do that, that's another vector for them to pile downvotes to downvote you to oblivion in their attempt to censor you
I had to reply to one more they're gonna implode over this one
The person who asked for the quote replied with "but someone who transitions to a man isn't a woman wearing men's clothing they're a man" so I said calling my cat a dog doesn't make it a dog 😆
See also Isaiah 29:16; 45:9
NICE!
I kind of figured the nerds would reply that the tranny’s pretend sex is the person’s real sex. Your quoting of that Deuteronomy verse about the garments reminds me of a funny troll who said he’s calling trannies ‘transvestites’ just to piss them off and make them think he doesn’t understand that they’re doing more than just cross-dressing.
Woe to those who reject the Lord our God. For their inheritance is damnation.
I only replied to one of them and pretty much just said "lol I have no interest in discussing this. They wanted a quote so I gave one, have a nice day"
Hit them up with this one:
Hebrews 13:8
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Try this one
“I do not consent to this evil message. I rebuke this, in the name of Jesus! Father, I ask that you rebuke this and send it back to hell, in Jesus’ name, Amen."
