Any opinions on whether the premium over spot for silver American Eagles is worth it? Or when it comes down to it, are they all worth the same, whether it's an AE, an Austria Philharmonic or a Canadian Maple Leaf, etc?

Thanks
Aren't maple leafs .9999 and Eagles are just .999 pure silver right?
I think I remember that because you can use the maple leafs to make colloidal silver yourself.
Yes, I believe Maple Leafs are medical/surgical grade silver.
Buffalos are nice. I like them in gold
The stamp serves as an authenticator of quality. That's why it has a premium over uncoined metal. Unless you can measure the purity yourself (and whoever you are selling to also can), the premium is worth it. If you are in Canada, people will be more skeptical of Austrian coins than the more recognizable maple leafs, but the difference is small and depends entirely on preference and random market factors. If there's a wave of counterfeit (diluted or fake) maple leaf, then that same logic flips the market situation.
Good food for thought. Thanks!
which weighs more? an ounce of silver from an American Eagle or an ounce from a canadian coin? that should be your answer.
Wait..wait..I know the answer……
Who's buried in Grant's tomb?
well it aint Grant...
I like the buffaloes
I'd just buy as much of either as I could.
If you resell, you will only get spot + the dealers markup price. You stack ounces, not the Numismatic value (rare, low mintage etc).
Cheapest price per TO gets my vote too. You can get Eagles or Maple Leafs, but way more over spot than rounds.

Aside from their deals they have some other rounds that are pretty cool
Thanks for all the input... Helps a lot!
Search out your nearest gold/silver refiner. If there’s one close and you’re buying more than a couple/few ounces, it’s worth the drive. They test it themselves so you know what you’re getting.
It's all one ounce of gold.
Silver is silver, buy the cheapest.
