If we became overwhelmed by a powerful benevolent angelic Presence, would we not call it Jesus or God based on our culture? What if it was an archangel? There could be all kinds of stuff going on out there.

There is one supreme creator God from which springs the holy trinity and a multitude of inferior Gods and Godesses. It says so in the very beginning, "Gods and Goddesses created..." . People claim you should only read the simplified King James Bible, but the most accurate reading still comes from analyzing scripture in Old Hebrew. Grammar matters. During countless new translations and "improvements" a consensus on meaning was decided - they're going to ignore the original grammar (plural male and female) and just call it "God". Furthermore, the Hebrew language is quite special, as every symbol has three (3) meanings and thus within every verse there are 3 different meanings. (just like Q implied there are multiple meanings to their posts). in the best case scenario, we only get 1 interpretation in English
What else has been changed on consensus? A lot! Whole books have been removed from the Bible, including the books about Jesus private marriage life and the teachings about Holy Matrimony held within. So what is the logical consequence, then, if you truly want to understand scripture and the codes hidden within it? You have to learn Hebrew yourself - but who's going to do that? That's a LOT of effort...instead you can just have someone, who doesn't understand the material because he's also relying on obfuscated Interpretations made by someone else, interpret scripture for you.

Authors of books and shows are gods as well. Indeed our art pales in comparison, however I have always found the bland Christian Fundamentalism so boring and sad.
He's a big God... He has more than one way of reaching people. If you think you've scored the correct religion, then you have learned nothing.
The Great I AM The Supreme Being. All others are idols. Mankind's development was overseen by our Creator, as our intellect developed, the teachings and prophets began to appear. In our primitive states, we began to think, as children did, all that could not be explained was attributed to "gods", and they were prayed and sacrificed to, fire, rain, sun, moon, animals, trees, rocks, etc, those early primitive imaginings were a seed of Faith, and then, all of those things and elements were recorded as Creation, having no life of themselves, not made by themselves, but made by the Creator, who is only worthy of our worship. In HIM and by HIM and through HIM, all things have their being. Without the one GOD, there would be nothing. Mankind attributed power to those elements, and in our ignorance and selfish needs, we made up the word "gods". Now think of the one true GOD, does he exist for out personal needs, of course not, HE EXISTS and through Faith and prayer, becomes our comfort and strength and our example, through Jesus Christ, HIS only son, of one being with the Father, we are taught that our earthly needs will be met if we follow him and live in accordance to his laws. It is very simple and fascinating at the same time. Do angels exist? I believe they do, but they are all under GODS rule, and perhaps they are assigned roles that do, in fact, look over the elements and the gifts that mankind can receive, healing, discernment, prophecy, but we do not pray to or worship them, we do not fall on our knees and give thanks to them, we fall on our knees to the ONE, The Great I AM. HE has the power and glory, not individuals, not the Earth, not nature. HE IS NATURE! Poor fools who believe that praying to idols will do anything for them. Keep praying to Know HIM, keep inviting his Holy Spirit in, we have to work for it, we are sinners, it's not just a "oh I'm born again, so I have nothing to worry about", I mean, you can stop at that, but believe me, if you keep seeking and talking to HIM, the rewards are indescribable, and only a glimpse of what awaits us when we leave our flesh and bone prison. Back to Eden, where we can dwell with him for eternity,that other dimension that we call Heaven. Life is a miracle, live it and pray often and do good to others as you would have them do to you. Hard work, sweat, tears, all for his Glory. My God is an awesome God, more awesome than all the "things" that exist.

How do you know there's only one "God". Trust the "religion" like trust the "science"?? LOL use some critical thinking skills and don't just trust authority figures. That's why we're in this mess in the first place.
It's a meme, there is more to it use your critical thinking skills and we may be able to advance forward in understanding that there is only one God and HE is Alpha and Omega.
