I am led to believe by the madlads over at Superstonk that I can roll the shares out of an IRA and DRS them, then roll them back into an IRA within 60 days without incurring any penalties... I may just take the hit and keep them in a standard brokerage account.
I don't think you can avoid the tax penalty. I DRSd all my IRA shares by transferring them to nonretirement account. Fuck the tax implications I want the shares in my name.
Someone commented on that thread that apparently the transformer's name is Ultra Magnus so I looked up the term Magnus as the commenter compared ultra MAGA to the transformer name. Magnus Carlsen is the world CHESS champion. Holy cow, chess of all things.

Exactly! I just bought more because it's more affordable now.
Nothing, that's how a split works...unless he's saying the list is down further than after you do the math for the split.
