All my life there were people trying to convince me to believe in God. Oddly, no one bothered to take the time to ask me if I wanted to believe in God. Once I decided that I wanted to believe, behold, there he was. I believe. Bless you fren.
That is so interesting. Thank you for making that point. It's invaluable! I took for granted that everybody wants to know God, therefore they all want to believe in Him. However, you hit on a great point. There are no doubt some people whose hearts have become so hardened, that they don't even want to believe. That explains a lot to me in my personal evangelical efforts. Thank you for illuminating something that I did not previously see. Many blessings to you, fren.
Or you have people like me who grew up in a liberal non-religious family who prided themselves on being too "smart" to believe in God. It depends on your conditioning when you were young and impressionable.
I've known for over a decade that what people call "God" is actual the Universal Consciousness - not an old man with a white beard (that's Santa Claus).
I don't think Universal Consciousness created the heavens and the earth. It might be responsible for making people aware of God and Him having done so.
