I'm going to defend Tucker. I've liked him ever since he was the only MSM broadcaster to push for more info about the Las Vegas massacre. The last time he did a piece on it, I instantly knew he went too far and his leash was shortened. He never talked about it again, but I know he wanted to.
Put yourself in Tucker's place. He has two options. One, speak his truth, whatever it may be, and at any cost. He would instantly lose his job and no longer be able reach as many people he can with as much information as his employers will allow him. As far as I'm concerned, Tucker treads the line of job/no-job almost every night. Or option two, push the envelope on a regular basis while toeing the line of what isn't allowed to be said over the air. I believe he is doing a masterful job of option #2!
In short, he is doing what he can to offer the most critical perspective and questioning of the mainstream narrative. Nobody else comes even close to Tucker.
Both my parents, as well as many of their friends (70s+) get a little more pink-pilled every night they watch him. They've lived a full life of believing in the MSM, and as such, it takes time to unwind all that brainwashing. It doesn't happen overnight. And I believe Tucker is the best option available for this group of people.
I'll further my argument by adding that Tucker has a Pay-For online program as well where he runs long-form interviews that CLEARLY wouldn't be acceptable on prime time Fox over the air. He goes much further and deeper on his online program than he does on Fox. And it couldn't be more perfectly clear that the editors at Fox won't allow his more "controversial" content going out to the masses. His interview with Theo Fleury a few weeks ago was especially powerful and telling. It told me Tucker "knows what's up" at much deeper levels than he is allowed to express over the air.
Net-Net - I fully support Tucker because he reaches and influences a large audience that isn't quite ready for GA-grade topics, but hopefully Tucker will help them get here one day. The alternative is, Tucker goes too far some night, gets himself fired (like Glen Beck and his G. Edward Griffin interview), and they replace him with a Hannity/Baier/O'Reilly clone that "plays it safe" and never steps out of line. That would be a travesty IMHO. I know many of these 70+ folks that are closer now to realizing what's going on, than ever before. And the primary reason for their steadily growing pink-pilling has been Tucker Carlson.
Tucker is doing the best he can within the confines of his MSM-overlords rules. He either plays by their rules, or he loses his job and his audience is left dangling in the wind. As such, I say "Bravo Tucker". Keep doing what you do!
I agree -- lots of people are like your parents, and whatever else you can say about Tucker, he is helping wake those people up. Is/was Tucker a CIA asset (now or in the past)? How the hell would I know? But what he's doing NOW is helping with the Great Awakening, THAT is for certain.
You are truly naive. He's a CIA farmboy. He's friends with Hunter. He's evil. Frequented Comet Ping Pong.
And you know this … how?
