I was in Denver about 7 years ago and my work partner was a HUGE conspiracy theorist. He had never heard about the horse! So when I was driving our rental car back to the airport, I pulled the car over next to he and he got out of the car and walked over to it.
My point is like yours, how the heck do people not know??? But he knew things that I had never heard about. So, I suppose, it all balances out at the end.

Disgusting. Majors tunnels underneath Denver airport where CIA supposedly is headquartered. I also read that the Queen has tons of property throughout CO. Now why on earth would the Queen have property in Colorado of all places? Creepy!
There are lots of tunnels under that place. Used to work there. Mostly, the tunnels are there for the defunct automatic baggage handling train system (that they couldn't get to work right) and for the baggage vehicles that do that that job.
Lots of dark offshoots and locked doors though.
