Remember when that female cop said “Don’t say anything?” to her?
That was the first thing I thought of when I saw this headline. If that female cop (US Marshall?) was real Nancy would already have a Lawver. If it was not real all these little stories are nonsense.
I haven’t forgotten that moment either.
It appeared to be a US Marshall, they were with her frequently in pictures. The common excuse would be that it was armed security due to Jan 6th.
But that doesn’t fly. Bodyguards aren’t in charge. They don’t tell their clients what they can and cannot say. This was one of the most powerful people in government being told by law enforcement to shut the fuck up and not talk to anyone at the inauguration.
Why? What possible reason could they have for doing that? In a normal world, this would be front page news.
There is only one logical way to view this. That was not a normal inauguration. Something was occurring there that was unlike any other inauguration the country has had in at least our lifetimes.
My guess? They didn’t want Pelosi warning others that something was wrong. They didn’t want her crying to the media asking for help, or to warn other politicians that indictments are coming so they all need to either run or destroy evidence.
Godamn I am ready for this to be over with. Just to find out how all of this actually played out behind the scenes.
Why would a US Marshall being telling the Speaker of the House that she cannot say another word during the inauguration of the president? It’s clown world. It just doesn’t fit into how everything is supposed to work.
No kidding. I'd happily watch all 20 seasons of whatever the heck has been going on behind the scenes.....

What really struck me was what he said next. He had to show proof of who he was to LEAVE the capital area that was fenced off.
That was the only time I heard that. Believe me I will never forget it. The first thing I thought was Washington DC is now a foreign country.

This is not strictly true. When you hire a bodyguard, you are hiring someone to protect you and in some cases your image.
You are trusting their judgements to keep you safe, even if that means shoving you into a car to avoid being harassed or attacked by the peasantry.
Telling someone they can’t say another word, like a parent scolding a child, is obviously much different than shoving them out of the way of a car.
What would happen if Nancy talked to someone at the inauguration? What possible reason would a US Marshall have telling her not to talk to anyone at the inauguration? Is the building gonna blow up if she does? Commandos attack the building as soon as she says anything?
There isn’t any plausible reason that they would be telling her to shut her mouth, simply as a protective measure like pushing or shoving her.
