Reading tea leaves here, but the spin I've seen on this is that DeSantis sent the cops cause Warren wouldn't leave.
My suspicion, based on the article, is that he made the announcement, then immediately sent the cops over, not giving Warren time to react for two reasons:
First, it kept Warren from finding some Hawaii judge to issue an injunction.
Second, it kept Warren from deleting files, hiding them, or giving instructions to cronies on how to cover up actions and hide evidence.
Yeah. When I hear cops, I think of the police getting this guy out because he refuses to leave (which is partially true, but not in a refuses to leave the premises way).
The reality is simpler: Desantis wanted this guy out quickly and cleanly.
Yeah, that's why when you're fired, you get no notice.
They don't want you hanging around a couple of weeks to muck things up.
I worked for a company many years ago, and when they were "through with" an employee because of egregious actions, they would physically escort them out of the building with no time to do anything other than collect personal effects.
I once worked on a computer behind one of those persons, and she had spent a lot time creating her own personal database of movies in her personal collection. It took me a while to delete all her personal crap so I could finish up the work that she was taking entirely too long to do. She was trying to turn a few month project into a lifetime career, and the company got tired of it.
Had one where I worked, where the employee was on an annual contract, and upper management wanted to get rid of her, but couldn't until the contract ran out. Since the annual contracts were set up a couple of months in advance, she would have known she wasn't getting rehired.
They stuck her in an office for the last two months, a couple of miles away from the main business. She had to go in every day to this office with no windows, no computer, and no responsibilities. Just sit there for eight hours. I think she read books and looked for a new job.
Soros is losing on the bets he made and I cannot be any happier.
People are sick of criminals getting a free pass from commie prosecutors and AG's.

I worked for a national computer system engineering company with strict security, recognize badges plus enter code to get in. Saw only one person fired while there. He knew nothing until he came to work. Then his boss took all of the company gear & computer, handed him a box with his personal items, changed his computer code so that he get in the building or could log in remotely and lastly marched him out of the building. All this was to protect our code from sabotage from an irate former employee. I assume that was the case here.
Now if only this caught on like the 🇨🇦 truckers
